Season's Greetings!

I participated in today's Featured Stamper Challenge at SCS. I love doing that when I can make the time!

Today's featured stamper was nitestamper . Be sure to check out her awesome gallery!

The card I chose to case is HERE . For my Christmas tree, I used the tree from Hero Arts Laughter & Merriment .

I stamped the tree twice...once on watercolor paper, then again on a white cardstock panel. As usual, I stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The watercolor stamped image was colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen, then cut out and adhered over the one on the white cardstock panel. I used Scotch Mounting Tape for dimension. I'm a huge fan of dimension and texture!

I used my SU! Word Window punch to cut a slit in the left side for my designer paper panel (Basic Grey). The Season's Greetings sentiment is also in the Laughter & Merriment clear stamp set. The Joy circle is from my Hero Arts stash. Both were stamped with VersaMark ink , then embossed with white embossing powder. I was looking for my Holiday Circles set. I think it would also be great for the circle tag. Apparently I have that set in the wrong drawer, because I didn't find it! I just hate it when that happens!

The ribbon is from May arts, and the "rug" is the A Muse Skinny Oval. Be sure to mask the trunk of your tree before stamping the rug!

I know this was a bit hurried, but I've got chicken on the grill and I promised myself that if I got done early tonight I could watch Brothers & Sisters while I put my new Nestabilities in their CD cases with magnetic tape. Life in the fast lane, huh? LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
