Let's Do Lunch

About a week ago I was fortunate enough to win Blog Candy from Toni at Moved to the Mountains . Can you believe it? I never win anything!

If you haven't been to Toni's blog you MUST check it out. She is a designer for My Favorite Things, and she makes a lot of VERY cool stuff! Thanks so much Toni! I can't begin to tell you how much I'm enjoying this awesome stamp set!

So I just had to put it to good use. The name of the set is Meet Me At The Cafe and as I said, it's from My Favorite Things. You really need to see how many fabulous stamps there are in this set. Kim did a good job on this one, for sure!

I was a little apprehensive (yes, me!) to use this set after I saw so many *over-the-top* samples by the design team. But hey....it's my blog so I gotta do my own thing, right?

The patterned paper is all Basic Grey Blush, from a 6 x 6 paper pad. As you can see, I paper pieced the clothing. I just love doing that! The awning was stamped twice. I adhered one underneath the awning that I popped up with foam tape. Everything else was colored with my Tombow markers and a blender pen.

I won't bore you with a lot of details. But if I left out anything you need to know, don't hesitate to email me.

Be SURE to register for the Dreamy Treats! You can post once on each entry beginning with the Dreamy Treats Alert on Saturday. So you actually get one chance per post until I reach 30,000 hits.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you had a great Monday!

Michelle this is gorgeous! This is so much more my style than some of the samples I've seen. I'd written this set off, but now I'm considering it again. Thanks so much for sharing!

This reminds me a lot of the stamp shop stamp I purchased from you. I love the awning on this and the way you made it dimensional. Absolutely, you have to do you own thing girl. We love your creations. I love the scallops on the bottom to pick up the awning scallops. I think I'll add this to my Christmas wish list.

I think this is a great stamp set..I love the way you made it dimensional. What I look for on a blog are creative ways to use stamps and to find out what motivates people to stamp.
