Shepherd Collage

I had a few stolen moments today, so I decided to participate in Jen's sketch challenge at I{heart}2stamp . Jen has a sketch every Saturday. You really should consider playing along. I love the challenge, and it gives me new ideas for layouts so I don't end up with the same ones time and time again. Thanks Jen!

I used Paper Inspirations Shepherd Collage to stamp the main image on designer paper. I stamped with VersaMark Ink , then embossed with JudiKins Black Opal embossing powder. It's really a very black embossing powder with a touch of gold glitter in it. So pretty!

The designer paper is from Hobby Lobby. The back of it says The Paper Studio. I also used this same dp for my background layer, and the strip across the bottom in order to tie it all together. Sometimes continuity is a good thing! :-)

The noel stamp is from my Penny Black stash. It was embossed with JudiKins Black Opal embossing powder as well. The cardstock is all from Bazzill. The texture really shows up in the photograph, doesn't it?

The second card is one I made last year using the same stamp. I simply added it to this post so you can see how versatile the stamp is, and how many different looks you can get with the same stamp.

Much to do....so this is short tonight.

Thanks for stopping by. I will try to have something new for you tomorrow night.

And don't forget to set your clocks back, otherwise you will be EARLY for church tomorrow morning!

This has got to be one of the prettiest cards you've ever made! I love the shades of blue/black and how it shimmers with that EP. Even though the card you made last year is lovely, this newer version is just over the top! I love it! TFS
