Noel - Featured Stamper Challenge

I took a little time to join in this week's Featered Stamper's challenge on SCS. If you have never participated, I really urge you to! You wouldn't believe how quickly this card came together since I had a "plan" when I started it. Most of the time I don't have a plan....I just start and see where it ends up! LOL!

Today's featured stamper is jpmayo. You can view her awesome gallery HERE . She has a lot of great cards in her gallery, but I chose THIS ONE to CASE.

I loved her card, particularly the layout! So I changed the stamp, the colors and the designer paper.

For my main image I used Stampendous Doodle Noel . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Blank ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The "O" in Noel was paper pieced using Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper. The other letters were colored using Tombow markers.

The long strip of designer paper is also from Basic Grey Figgy Pudding. The light turquoise background was embossed with my Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder.

The bling on the "N" is Red Geo Shaper Sparkler Stickers . I also used them on all four corners of the Noel panel.

I love Sunday's featured stamper challenge.....you should try it!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will have something new for you tomorrow.

Love love love this card!! I just bought some figgy pudding yesterday and was playing with this exact same colour combination last night! I really admire how your cards have just the perfect amount of embellishment - I really am trying to get better at that.
