Pocket Full of Posies

I couldn't resist making one more card with my new JudiKins Jeans Pocket stamp.

First, I stamped Hero Arts Sketch Flower Trio on pale yellow cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I colored the flowers using Tombow markers in colors to compliment the paper.

The Jeans Pocket was stamped on white cardstock using Ranger Adirondack Denim ink, then cut out. You could also use black, or any other color that might resemble jeans. They come in every color these days, don't they?

I placed the cut out pocket over the vase so that only the "posies" were showing. Before adhering the pocket I folded a small scrap of ribbon to form a tab and glued it to the right side of the pocket. The sentiment was computer generated on vellum. I didn't have a stamp that said that, so I just improvised.

I added several layers of complementary colored cardstock and punched the corners with the SU! ticket punch.

I had fun making this card...and can see many more possibilities for this stamp.

Okay....it's late and I haven't yet had dinner or my bath. Where DOES the time go? It's time for me to start "spazzing" to get ready for the work week.

Thanks for stopping by. More tomorrow..........
