Hello friend

Okay...after making two holiday cards I'm ready to get back to summer! LOL!

The floral image on this card is from a My Favorite Things set called Bundle of Bouquets . This is the first time I've had a chance to play with this set, and I'll have to tell you that I really love it.

In case you're not familiar with My Favorite Things, this is a clear stamp set. I absolutely {{love}} that I can see the exact placement of my stamp without the use of a stamp positioner. Another great thing is that there are about 16 stamps in the set, which means the average price for each stamp is less than a dollar. That.....you gotta love! And I must mention that storage for these clear stamps is a huge plus!!!

I stamped the vase of flowers on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen. I punched the colored image out with my Marvy Mega Oval punch.

Last week I received the new Borders & Corners Oval set from Papertrey, so tried one of them out on this card. I stamped the dot Giga sized oval on purple cardstock, then punched it out with my Marvy Giga Scalloped Oval punch. Pretty cool...and very easy.

The sentiment is also from the MFT Bundle of Bouquets set. I stamped it on yellow cardstock with green pigment ink. The green and purple scallop layers on the sentiment were cut with my Fiskars Scallop scissors. I added a few brads for color and dimension.

The background paper is Basic Grey Sophie. It's so pretty that I didn't want to cover it up!

Gosh....I finished a little early tonight. And that NEVER happens! I must now try to figure out what I forgot to do that gave me the extra time! LOL!

Thanks for checking in........I appreciate your comments.
