I thought it would be entertaining to show you the "before" picture. It's a card I made a couple of years ago using the Diamond Loon rubber stamp from Northwoods Rubber Stamps. At the time I thought it was a pretty good card! It's amazing how our taste and abilites change over time, and how we grow as stampers.
Basically, I found the old card, took it apart and remade it adding only the background paper, and one panel of rust colored cardstock. I took the green panels from the old card and distressed them with Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink, then used a distress tool on the edges. I sponged a bit of ink on the white panel around the loons to soften the starkness of the white. Actually, now I wish I had added a bit more ink. Oh well...maybe I will do that on my next re-make of this card! :-)
I've gotta admit I like the after so much better than the before!
So go take apart one of those old cards you have lurking around. See if you can's come up with a totally different look in your newest style!

I like both of them. Although the second one is a little more elegant. I really like the job you do coloring your images -- very impressive.
Both cards are great, it is interesting to look back at what you were doing a couple of years ago compared to today.
Both cards are very nice!! Terrific coloring!! Great idea as well for using older cards.
