Northwoods Christmas

Since I'm in the holiday card mode already, I decided to make a Christmas card. No......it really isn't too early. But you may not think so until November when you haven't finished your Christmas cards! LOL!

I adore this image. It's from Northwoods Rubber Stamps, and the name of the stamp is Glory to God in the Highest . Is this not a beautiful stamp, or what?

It was such a simple card to make...really! I stamped on watercolor paper with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then colored using my Tombow markers. Just for fun, I distressed the edges of the watercolored layer then sponged a little gold pigment ink around the edges. I mounted it to Basic Grey Dasher decorative paper, and a red note card. See.........I told you it was simple.

This is the perfect card for some of my friends this Christmas. I will be making more to add to my Christmas list stash. Be sure to start early........it will be here before you know it!

This is a Gorgeous Christmas card -- the kind I like to give and get.
Although I have to say I would be a little intimidated by coloring all the words.
