For those of you who know me, I promise that I really DID make this card tonight. I know it isn't my style, and doesn't look like anything I have ever done. But.....I wanted to make an Easter card for my grands that would make them giggle. (They are the most adorable when they giggle!) I thought the huge easter egg in the grass with the caterpillar would be funny to them, so I just went with it. What the heck!
The large easter egg is from Penny Black. The grass, caterpillar, birdie and tiny flower are from A Muse Artstamps. I was trying to keep it kind of boyish, so I didn't use any ribbon or girlie things on it. That in itself was somewhat of a challenge!
Anyway....it's going in tomorrow's mail to my grandchildren. With any luck, they will smile when they open it, and think of me.
