Birthday Princess

My only granddaughter is SO into the princess thing. She loves ANYTHING princess...pajamas, purses, toys. So I think I really need to save this for her next birthday! It would make her giggle. And that would make me happy.

The stamps are from the Birthday Princess Pure Innocence set by My Favorite Things. Those children are just too, too cute, and so easy to color or paper piece. For this one, I paper pieced the dress and crown, and colored everything else with Tombow Markers . Using my Quickie Glue Pen for an adhesive, I added some Crystal Ultrafine Glitter to the cake, crown and her shoes. Girls like to sparkle, you know.

I stamped the sentiment on Iced Pink Prismatics and cut it out with a Spellbinders Labels One Nestability die. It is layered with Intense Pink Prismatics paper.

The designer paper is from the My Mind's Eye Mary, Mary collection...which sold out before I got a chance to use it! The punch is from Martha Stewart.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today.

How ADORABLE, Michelle! I love her paper-pieced, polka-dot dress and the sparkle! The sentiment tucked at the bottom like that is so cool!
