I know...this is NOT my usual Penny Black style, but I actually like it, and it felt good to get a little outside my comfort zone.
The stamp I used is Penny Black's Mixed Media rubber stamp. Very "collagey", don't you think? I stamped it on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed using JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The flowers were colored with a red Tombow Marker . I added a bit of green Prismacolor pencil to the stems, and sponged the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink .
All the designer paper is from the new My Mind's Eye Dusk Paper Kit . The flower in the circle is a punch out included in the kit, which I colored with a red Tombow marker. I layered it with two flowers cut from the Blossom Nestabilities .
The cardstock is Classic Red Prismatics and Black Prismatics . The red trim is from my stash. I added three clear Dew Drops to the upper left side for balance and dimension.
I hope you're all having a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
