Welcome to day 2 of Penny Black week at Stamper's Dream.
For today's card I used the Penny Black Joyous Hymn rubber stamp. I think those singing hedgies are way too cute!
I stamped on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow Markers . I stamped it once again, colored and cut out the sheet music and lantern then popped them up with foam tape. The colored image was cut out with Spellbinders Labels One nestabilities.
The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers A Merry Little Christmas centers and borders. I didn't want the candy on the Happy Holidays sentiment, so I simply cut it off. The tag is Spellbinders Fancy Tags .
The designer paper is some older Basic Grey from my stash. The carddstock is Blush Red Prismatics dark, and Spring Willow Prismatics .
Please be sure to see what the rest of The Dream Team has for you today! Here is the schedule for the rest of this week:
Today - Becca , Tosh , and Me
Wednesday - Laurie , Denise , and Me
Thursday - Laurie , Silke , and Me
Friday - Tosh , Amy , and Me

Penny Black Week - Sweet Nativity
It's Penny Black Week at Stamper's Dream! Each day this week the Dream Team will be showing you their creations with Penny Black stamps. The schedule for this week is at the end of my post.
This stamp is Penny Black's Sweet Nativity cling mount stamp from their new Slapstick Collection . I stamped it on watercolor paper then colored using Tombow Markers .
The image was cut out and adhered to a panel of Baby Blue Prismatics cut and embossed with my Spellbinders Labels Five nestabilities.
The tab on the top and bottom of the panel was cut and embossed with my Fancy Tags dies using Spring Willow Prismatics cardstock. I colored the Pearls with a Copic marker to match.
The designer paper is My Mind's Eye, and the hint of ribbon you see is May Arts Olive Burlap woven string.

My Little Chickadees...

I'm still working on using some of my favorite (and neglected) Christmas stamps! This one is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps and it's called Chickadee Holiday .
I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored with Tombow Markers blending with a damp paintbrush.
To give some sparkle and dimension to the snow I topped with White Opal Liquid Pearls then sprinkled on Crystal Ultrafine Glitter .
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Holiday Messages Sparkle Clear Set . It was still on my desk from the card I posted yesterday! I stamped the sentiment on Blush Red Prismatics dark, then cut it with my Spellbinders Labels One Nestabilities .
The green cardstock is Herbal Garden Prismatics dark. The designer paper is from my stash, and the punch used for the side border is from Martha Stewart.
I hope you're all having a great week. The weather here has been just beautiful after the tornado we had last Thursday. We are all soaking up some sunshine and enjoying the days without rain.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog today. I appreciate your kindness and encouraging comments.

Stitched Christmas Trees

I made this quick and easy card yesterday from some of my "go to" Hero Arts Christmas stamps. These two are called Stitched Tree and Stitched Zigzag Tree . AND...they are on sale in the store!
I stamped each on designer paper from the Fancy Pants Happy Holidays paper collection, then cut them out and put them on background paper from the same collection.
The sentiment is Hero Arts Holiday Messages Sparkle clear stamp set...ALSO ON SALE! The stars on top were punched from a Papershaper punch.
You can see another card I made using the same stamps by clicking HERE . Same stamps...entirely different look! Which one do you like better?
See, I told you it was a quick and easy card. Sometimes I LOVE making those!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back soon with something new. Until then...

Henry Mouse with Christmas Wreath
Did everyone set their clocks back last night? Since I erroneously did it last weekend (and totally embarassed myself), mine was already done! LOL!
I'm so loving these Henry Mouse stamps! This one is called Henry Mouse with Christmas Wreath , and the sentiment is from the JustRite Christmas Joy Borders & Centers oval set.
I stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .
On the Santa hat, I used White Opal Liquid Pearls then added Crystal Ultrafine Glitter to it while it was still wet.
The snowflakes were punched with a McGill punch then glittered . The buttons are from various Basic Grey collections. The designer paper is from the Basic Grey June Bug paper pad. The cardstock is Classic Red and Classic Yellow Green Prismatics .
I hope you all had a great Halloween. Thanks for stopping by today.
