Bloom Where You Are Planted

Happy Monday! Are you all as excited about going back to work today as I am? LOL!
Today's card came together for me easily. Believe me when I tell you that doesn't happen often enough! The stamp I used is from the JustRite Stampers Breath of Spring stamp set. I used it with my Large Oval Wooden Block to stamp on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink. I then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .

The image was cut and embossed using the new Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Nestabilities . I distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink . In just a moment I will show you how I made the red border. Hang on.

The sentiment is from JustRite's Seeds of Kindness stamp set. All the designer paper used on this card is from the gorgeous new Lush Green paper kit from My Mind's Eye.

The cardstock is Classic Red and Spring Willow Prismatics .

I added a couple of The Robin's Nest dew drops to the top left corner, and two Mini Rhinestones , one on each side of the main image.

This photo is the back of the larger Labels Thirteen image with the red border. I cut pieces for both the top and the sides, usually using scraps from my cardstock stash. This shows the top and bottom. Scroll down...

This photo shows the image after I added the pieces to the sides. I hope that makes sense. If not, please don't hesitate to email me.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a great Monday!
