I have loved this stamp since the first time I saw it. But I didn't have one in my own personal collection until now. HAD to have it. You know how that is, don't you? I just think there are so many occasions to use it. An ADDED plus is that it's really fast and easy to color!
The stamp is called Bible Still Life and it's by Inkadinkado.
I stamped it on Neenah Solar White cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine ink. Just to be on the safe side, I heat set the ink before coloring.
To color the image I used my Prisma Colored pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. It's only the second time I have used that technique, and I really love it! These pen and ink drawings really beg to be colored with pencils, I think.
After coloring the image I added a bit of Gold Stickles to the gold leafing on the bible. I also added a touch of Stardust Stickles to the flowers.
The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Eva paper pad. The cardstock is Crabapple Prismatics .
When I made this card my intent was to send it to the Chemo Angels . It's a wonderful organization, and you can find out more about how to donate HERE . After looking at the card a little more carefully and reading more about their purpose, I decided maybe it wasn't appropriate, so I will send something else instead.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

You did a fantastic job coloring this image. It looks like I'll have to figure out what Odorless Mineral Spirits are and how to use them (and where to buy them of course). Thank you for sharing such a lovely card.
What a stunning card! I just love the subtle shades of color with the delicate background dsp. As always, your colored image is top notch - and I love the addition of stickles here and there. Beautiful!!
