I Sea....

One of my grands is having a birthday this weekend. There is a big party planned at Party Central. It will be noisy, and terribly hectic. And yes...I'm going. LOL!

I had a few moments tonight so I decided I should whip up a quick and easy card to go with his gift. This one just may be my all-time best tanker. But it's what I made, so I decided to post it anyway. I will have to give some serious thought about whether to actually "give" the card. He's 4...he won't care. But it's a matter of personal pride. Know what I mean?

The stamp set I used is one of my Gina K favorites. I've used it time and time again. It's from the Just Keep Swimming set by Gina K Designs.

I stamped the octopus on watercolor paper, colored it with Tombow markers, then cut it out and adhered it to a green panel cut and embossed with a Nestabilities rectangle. The red scalloped panel is also cut with the rectangle Nestabilities.

Just for fun, I added three Robin's Nest Dew Drops to resemble bubbles.

The designer paper is from the Sharon Ann collection by Deja Views. I cuttlebugged it using a Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.

That's it for me tonight. I'm off to package some orders for the store and try to regroup before work tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I totally don't think this is a tanker! Love the dewdrops and the cuttlebugged patterned paper. We are our own worst critics aren't we? For the record, I think it's awesome!

What you think of as a "tanker" is not what I "sea!" LOL I think this is a great card and just perfect for a little one! I love how you used the dewdrops as water bubbles - I never would have thought to use them that way! So clever!
Have fun at the party - it sounds like the "Chucky Cheese" party centrals we have locally. I attended a party there once - I'm done now:) HB hugs to the grandson:)
