Wicker Chair with Flowers

I took a little time to stamp this afternoon. Sadly, I didn't get as much done as I wanted to! :-(

For a week now I have tried to find the time to play with this gorgeous stamp. It is Northwoods Wicker Chair with Flowers . I can't begin to tell you how much fun it was coloring this beauty!

I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I almost always emboss when I am going to watercolor. I like the definition that embossing powder gives to to the lines. Of course, everyone has their own way of doing things...no right or wrong. Do your OWN thing!

The stamped image was colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen. I tried to do a lot of shadowing and shading to give it some depth.

The bottom was scalloped with my corner rounder, and the ribbon is May Arts Purple/Pink Iridescent .
Gosh, it took a lot longer to make this card that it did to describe it! LOL!

I'm posting a little early tonight so I can get all the packages wrapped for the store in time to watch the new episode of Desperate Housewives. I have no idea where they left off...but I'm sure they will catch us up on that, won't they?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
