I was frantitically trying to finish a card I've been working on so I could post it tonight, while also watching dinner on the stove and simultaneously working on an order for some new stamps for the store. Maybe a little too much multi tasking, ya think?
Then...everything began to go wrong. I wasn't happy with the designer paper, the embellishments weren't exactly right...PANIC set in. Yikes!
So....I have decided to take tonight off. Relax. Breathe. Find some balance in my life after crazy marathon day at the office.
I will be back soon....with a card that I like!

Good for you, Michelle! :) I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets stamper's block. Sometimes you just have to step back and try again later. :) BTW I read your blog everyday through Google Reader, don't always get over here to comment, but I love your work!
I know exactly how you feel. Stepping back for a moment really gives a good perspective on things and a chance to regroup and then reboot! LOL
Take a rest and come back refreshed. We'll miss you!

So glad to see you taking a much-needed break! I know life gets too hectic for all of us at times, and we MUST take that welcomed break from routine. Enjoy your rest and just breathe! We'll all be here waiting :)
Sometimes Michelle, you just have to let the creative mind take a break and revitalize itself..... LOL!!! I wonder if Dr. Phil would agree?!?!?!? I bet Martha Stewart would!!!

Michelle, I can SO empathize with you!! Taking a small break is exactly what I did for the last couple of days! It really does help! I have to admit, though...that I am *very* intrigued by the NEW STAMP order you were placing....teeheheee!! I hope your evening last night and day to day are relaxing and peaceful!
