So Kind

This was a pretty quick and simple card I made last night.

The floral image is from Hero Arts Solid Flowers Flourish stamp set. I colored on the rubber using my Tombow markers, spritzed with water using a JudiKins Fine Mist Spritzer to remoisten the ink, then stamped on white cardstock.

I used my oval Nestabilities to cut and emboss the stamped image, as well as the pink oval and the scalloped green layer. I do love my Nestabilities!
The sentiment is from the Hero Arts So Many Messages stamp set. Be sure to look at that set...it's a great one! I colored on the rubber with a Tombow marker then stamped on white cardstock. I used both my small and medium SU! ovals to cut and layer the image.

After I put the card together I decided I wasn't crazy about the ribbon with this Paper Adventures designer paper, but it was too late. Oh well....it does match. I would just have preferred something a bit wider, and maybe a little more vibrant. (I'm trying to learn not to sweat the small stuff! Obviously I need more practice in that area!) LOL!

My friend Mary stopped by tonight to visit and do a little shopping. She even brought dinner for me. Wasn't that super sweet? Love ya Mary! So I'm going to enjoy my dinner while I watch the State of the Union.

Thanks so much for stopping by.....more tomorrow.

Until then...

Silly me!! I was wrong. I was going to say how perfect that ribbon was with the dp!! But I stand corrected by your explanation. *grin* I do love the dp and that gorgeous flower image with the leafy swirls. You didn't mention that that was bad, so I assume I'm safe to say that. And, we both used our Oval Nestabilities tonight!! Woot!!! Gorgeous card Michelle!!
