Hook, Line & Sinker

It was just killing me to see this adorable little stamp on the shelf still uninked. So I took the opportunity to use it today to participate in the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge.

Today's featured stamper is Veronica aka I'mVeronica on SCS. You can view her fantastic gallery HERE . And the card that I chose to CASE can be seen HERE .

The cute little hedgie is a Penny Black stamp called Hook, Line & Sinker . It was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The background is pink cardstock stamped with my SU! Linen background stamp. I used VersaColor Scarlet ink. On the bottom right corner I added three little red brads.

NEWS FLASH!
My son just called to tell me that Little Jacob (my 3 year-old grandson) is very distraught. His only pet, Myrtle the Turtle, passed away last evening at approximately 7:30 pm. Funeral arrangements are pending. Your condolances are appreciated.

So that's it for me tonight, peeps! I'm off to make dinner and try to catch up around the house. I just realized that Desperate Housewives isn't coming on tonight. What's up with that??? My friend Carol said there is a new episode of Brothers & Sisters tonight, so I don't want to miss that!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great Monday.
