Flower Flourish - SC159

I made this card for today's sketch challenge on SCS. If you've never played along, I strongly encourage it. You can find the SCS Challenges HERE .

I was DETERMINED to use this designer paper. It's the Basic Grey Lily Kate collection. I bought a 6 x 6 pad of it quite a while ago, and don't think I've ever used any of it. Those colors really just aren't "me" but I'm going for it anyway! Tonight's the night! LOL!

The stamp I used is from a Hero Arts set called Solid Flower Flourishes . I colored on the rubber with my Tombow markers, then spritzed with water using a JudiKins Fine Mister and stamped on white cardstock.
The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things set called Bundle of Bouquets . I stamped it with VersaMagic Pretty Petunia ink, then cut it out using the smaller SU! oval. The larger SU! oval is the purple layer behind it, and the layer behind that one is another SU! punch.

The ribbon is a two sided lavendar and green ribbon from May Arts.

Update on Cuttlebug Folders - Since I've had quite a few inquiries, I called my distributor today to see when I could expect the new Cuttlebug folders. They have been on pre-order since October! I was told that Provo Craft has decided not to release them until CHA, which will be in mid February. BIG bummer! :-( But I wanted all of you to know so you can plan accordingly.

I will be sending a Nestabilities order on Friday, so if anyone wants me to include something in this order, please let me know as soon as possible.

So....that's it for me! I'm off to make something for dinner, then answer some emails. I also have some stamps to package for tomorrow's mail. THEN I'm going to take a little nap. LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, it's lovely! I love the layered punches for the sentiments and the varied shades of lavender. But, pink and green is still one of my favorite combos and the mono card in the previous post is beautiful, too! It's even my initial;) Thanks for sharing....I always look forward to seeing your work.
