Flourish Lily

I've had this designer paper for a while, and just didn't know if I could work with it since it's out of my normal color palette. But since I found cardstock and ribbon in my stash to match, I decided to give it a go! It's good to work out of our comfort zone, right? LOL!

The flower stamp is Hero Art's Flourish Lily . I was drawn to this image because of it's wispy look. And since I love to watercolor, this image is perfect for that!

I stamped on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen using colors to coordinate with the designer paper. I used a Tombow blender pen to blend the colors together.
The sentiment is also from a Hero Arts. It's a new release set called So Many Messages . I love the font, and the fact that there are 6 sentiments in the set...something for most any occasion.

The designer paper is from Bo-Bunny, and the ribbon is from American Crafts.

I was off work today for the holiday, but it's back to the salt mines tomorrow. I accomplished quite a bit, but there is always more to be done, isn't there? Where DID the time go?

Thanks for stopping by.....have a great Tuesday!

Your watercolouring is amazing. I have never used the blender tombow with the markers. Can you use the stampin blender with the tombows and get the same affect? I have always used tombows with water. Can you help me with this?
