Thank You Card

I needed a quick thank you card to put in tomorrow's mail, so I whipped this up after work tonight.

Today I received a very thoughtful gift from the Parish 4-H Extension Service. I am the treasurer for their organization, and they are always so appreciative of the work I do for them. It's one of those things I couldn't say no to. Believe me....there is a long list of those in my life! LOL!

The stamp is from Inkadinkado and is called Thank You Flourish .

I stamped it on a light green Bazzill cardstock using ColorBox Cranberry ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.

I used my Concave Corner Punch for all the corners.

The green horizontal strip behind the sentiment was stamped with the edges of the stamp, then layered with coordinating colors.

For a little bling, I added Red GeoShapes Sparkler Stickers among the flourishes and on all four corners.

The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Fruitcake collection. I just love the rich colors.

This was a very quick and easy card, and I think it will do the job for my thanks to the guys.

And thanks to all of YOU! I do so appreciate your continued support!

Beautiful card again! I love that the card is seasonally appropriate without actually being "Christmasy" if you know what I mean. I "think" that I loved the Fruitcake line the best (gasp - even better than figgy pudding). I still have scraps that I'm hoarding! Thanks for the reminder that we don't always need to stamp on white paper!

what a pretty card! It has a graceful flow about it that just somehow soothes me. The paper is so rich in design and it perfectly compliments the sentiment and flourish. And then of course there are those Geo sparklers that dazzle me every time! Beautiful work Michelle! Love it!
