Changito Bouquet - Featured Stamper Challenge

Is this little Changito stamp cute, or what??????

As you know, I love the Sunday Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast. This morning I stole a little time to play (instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing!)

The featured stamper today is Crissy. I wasn't familiar with her work until today, and I can tell you that she has some fabulous cards in her gallery. Be sure to check them out HERE . One of the great things about the SCS FS Challenge is that you discover new galleries. I like that.

The card that I chose to CASE can be seen HERE . I stayed with the pink theme and used her basic layout changing the stamps and embellishments.

The stamp is from Stampendous and is called Changito Bouquet .

I stamped on watercolor paper, embossed using detail clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow markers. I didn't put a sentiment on the outside so I can use this for whatever occasion I might need later. But it could easily be a thank you, thinking of you, or even a Valentine card.

The tabs on each are just strips of cardstock trimmed with a corner rounder. The little hearts are from a Marvy punch. The background paper is from One Heart, One Mind.

I hope you are all ready for Christmas. My family won't be here until lunchtime on Christmas day. Does that explain some of my procrastination? Finally, I kicked it in high gear today. All the gifts are now wrapped!!! Woo hoo! My famous New York Cheesecake is almost ready to come out of the oven. Funny, but my family (and my best friend) don't think we've had a REAL holiday unless I make cheesecake! LOL!

Quick funny story....our 3 year old keeps asking for a purple birthday cake for Christmas. We have no idea why, except that they have been telling him stories of the real meaning of Christmas and the story of Christ's birth. No one knows where the purple part comes in. Let me assure you, the child WILL have a purple birthday cake on Christmas!

I hope you're enjoying your holiday. I am definitely going to be enjoying mine now that the stressful part is behind me! And I can't wait to get some special hugs and see the grands opening their gifts!

Merry Christmas to you all!
