Stranded at DFW

But I will be the first to admit that it's MUCH better than being stranded at the airport in Los Angeles (which is what happened Tuesday night)!

What a trip!!! CHA was GREAT fun! I have so much to tell you, and I took pictures to share. But until I get home and off this laptop I will just have to keep you in suspense.

I hope to finally get home tonight! More delays with flights, and we are supposed to get snow in Shreveport tonight, which is my destination airport. I think I've been bumped from my flight 6 or 7 times now. But I'm not complaining...there are many who have it way worse than I. Do you think I will ever see my luggage again??? LOL!

So...until I can get back home there is a delay with shipping your orders. So sorry! You all KNOW how I feel about fast shipping!

Remember that we still have the blog candy giveaway going on the post below. Why don't you comment on this post for a second chance at it? AND...if the winner mentions your name as a referral in their post, I will send a little something to the person who referred them if they are the lucky winner! So tell your friends to comment, and mention your name in their post! Got it? Two chances to comment...once on the post below and another chance on this one. When I get home I'll let you know who the winner is.

Thanks for hanging in there with me. Hugs to all!!!

I've been stranded at DFW but it wasn't too bad. As a travel agent, American Airlines let me in their Red Carpet Room, or whatever they call that club. It's a comfortable way to kill 5 or 6 hours. Hope you get home soon.

Michelle, you certainly have the right attitude for someone who has been stranded due to the weather. I have been in that predicament myself and not just during the winter months. Wishing you a safe return home. Can't wait to see what new things you discovered at CHA.

So sorry you are stuck, but I'm thinking many people are just like you. That big storm just about wiped out every airport and it will take some time to get things back up and running. We had ice here; about an inch or more and then snow on top of that. It's pretty incredible the mess it made. Hope you get home safely very soon.

Sending you warm comfy wishes! If it wouldn't take me 2 hours, I'd head up there and hang with ya...but these TX drivers are NUTS! Hope you get home soon, girl!

Just look at it this way, Michelle - it's an opportunity to draft the text on future posts! My friend Carla at "Cards by Carla dot blogspot dot com" referred me.

You have such a good attitude for being stuck twice! Hopefully you are actually home by this morning. Crystal was the first to tell me about the blog candy - even before I got on the blogs & saw a design team member's announcement! Is that a good friend or what? :)

Being stranded, just does not sound very pleasant. What a change from the beautiful weather in LA. (I live in Palm Springs, CA, so have no idea what all that snow and bad weather is like!) But hopefully, you will get home soon, and can rest and relax a bit and then tell us all the great CHA news! I am excited to see what all the new goodies you will have to share with us. Have a safe, balance of your trip home. Take care.
