Holiday Bird Bath

What a weekend! It was so, so busy...but yet a good one! Both of my boys and all the grands were here yesterday afternoon. They splashed and played in the pool while I cooked chicken on the grill. What fun!

Before they arrived I made this card with a new Impression Obsession stamp called Bird Bath . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush to blend.

The main image panel was cut and embossed using Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Nestabilities. I distressed the edges just a bit with Tim Holtz Bundled Sage ink.

The designer paper is from the new Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather 6 x 6 paper pad. The cardstock is Majestic Purple and Sage Prismatics cardstock.

Those are my very first rolled flowers. I LOVE them! In fact, I even taught a couple of the grands how to make them this afternoon! :D

Be sure to see yesterday's post for the current discount coupon code. It's good until midnight tonight!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
