Birthday Martini

My stash of birthday cards is ridiculously low, so I decided to make a concerted effort to add a few cards to it.

The stamp I used for this card is Impression Obseession's Birthday Martini . I stamped it on Simply Smooth White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers. Yes...you read that right! LOL! I actually used my Copics for something other than coloring rhinestones and pearls. :-)

Using my Quickie Glue Pen for adhesive, I added Mini Rhinestones to the base of the martini glass. Then I put a thin layer of JudiKins Diamond Glaze over it to make it appear glass-like.

The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Lemonade paper pad. The cardstock is Rose Prismatics light and dark.

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Michelle - I adore your use of the BG Lemonade pad and in particular the belly band across the middle of the card beneath the oval scalloped image. A wonderful card, my friend.

I was wondering when I'd see you break out those Copics, and your card turned out lovely! I love the glazed look, and those mini cupcakes in the glass.....how cute is that?!
