Cat on the Moon

This is actually the first card I made for the Stamper's Dream Dreamy Challenge this month. The challenge was to make a monochromatic card. After I made this one I kinda worried about the patterned paper disqualifying it for the challenge, so I ditched it and started over!

The stamp I used is Penny Black's Cat on the Moon rubber stamp. Isn't it cute???

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.

The stamped image was cut and embossed with Spellbinders square nestabilities. The cardstock is Yellow Prismatics medium and dark.

The designer paper is from my stash. Gosh...I've had it for forever! The bottom of the card was punched with a Fiskars threading water punch.

The flowers are also from my stash. The brown burlap string used for the bow is from May Arts.

I do so thank you for stopping by. It is so kind of you to leave comments for me. They are much appreciated.

Michelle- love your card it looks so sunny and warm. I can only hope that someday I will see green grass again soon. I am so jealous we got another foot of snow today.

We must be on the same wave length these days. I made a card that was all yellow too - a color I rarely ever reach for! I guess it shows my longing for warm sunshine! This is so stinkin' cute! Great image & great coloring as well. Love that little bow on the button, what a great touch!

Super adorable and you are right on target with the monochromatic colors - you shouldn't have changed a bit!!!

I made a project with your monochromatic theme, but I can't reveal until Friday - I know I won't qualify for your giveway, but I wanted you to know that you all have inspired me!!! Hugs ~S~
