The Gift of Giving

This sweet little stamp is Penny Black's Gift of Giving . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .

The sentiment is from the JustRite Holiday Cheer borders and centers set. I placed a Kaisercraft Pearl in the center of the snowflake, and cut out the sentiment using Spellbinders Scalloped Circles die cut.

The designer paper is all from the Basic Grey Jovial 6 x 6 Paper Pad . The red cardstock is Classic Red Prismatics .

I noticed today that the counter on my blog is getting VERY close to 300,000 hits. We must do something about that soon!

Ghostly Greetings!

I can hardly believe that September is almost over. We have enjoyed a couple of days of nice fall weather here...and that means Halloween is coming soon!

For this fun Halloween card I used the Impression Obsession Party Table cling mount stamp. I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Ghostly Greetings stamp set. The designer paper is from the My Mind's Eye Blackbird Paper Kit . I used the Distrezz-It-All for the main image and sentiment layers, then aged them with Tim Holtz Distress Inks . A little Stickles Glitter Glue was added here and there for a bit of sparkle.

Warm & Merry

There is something about these caroling mice that just makes me smile! The stamp is Penny Black's Warm & Merry . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush.
I stamped the mouse in the middle once again on a scrap of paper, colored him and cut it out so I could use foam dots to pop it up.

The designer paper is from the My Mind's Eye Holly Jolly paper kit. The red cardstock is Blush Red Dark Prismatics,and the gold metallic string is May Arts.

Dressed To Scare!

Is this little fellow cute, or what?
The main image is Penny Black's Dressed To Scare rubber stamp. I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers . I stamped just the hat again, colored it and popped it up with foam tape. The image and the Prismatics Orange layer were cut and embossed using Spellbinders Inverted Circles . The Majestic Purple layer is Spellbinders scalloped circles.

The sentiment is Impression Obsession's Boo Eyes cling mount stamp. It was cut and layered onto Spellbinders Fancy Tags . The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye's Blackbird Paper Kit .

For my card today I used JustRite's Christmas Ornaments borders and centers, paired with the new Mitten Weather designer paper from Cosmo Cricket. The image was stamped on Neenah Natural White cardstock, then colored with Tombow Markers .

The panel behind the main image was cut and embossed using Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Nestabilities. The cardstock used is Iced Teal and Blush Red Dark Prismatics.



The sentiment on the inside is from the JustRite Christmas Nested Sentiments & Verses . The red border was cut using Tim Holtz Ornate On The Edge Sizzix die.
