Last weekend I was really inspired and finally took the time to make my recipe album. The inspiration came from the new gorgeous Jack & Jill paper collection by My Mind's Eye . My kitchen has red accents, and this paper collection has just the right touch of color to look really pretty sitting on my kitchen counter!
I used a Cardkeeper Album Kit to make the recipe book. What I love about it is that you can add many refills to it so it's an ongoing project. The sleeves hold A2 sized cards, and the plastic cover just lends itself to recipes since it makes the card splatterproof.
The letters for the title were stamped with Brayton 95 pt font from JustRite. Each was cut and embossed with a Spellbinders oval, then the edges were distressed using Pine Needles Distress Ink .
The main image is Lovin From The Oven from My Favorite Things. I paper pieced the dress, apraon and bowl using various papers from the Jack & Jill collection.
The chipboard accents are from the Maya Road What's Cookin Mini Chipboard set. I used Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the paper to the chipboard, then lightly sanded the edges and distressed with a little Tim Holtz Distress Ink . The bow around the oven mitt is Red Burlap String from May Arts.
You may recall this recipe card I made a few weeks ago. Just wanted you to see what it looks like all protected in my recipe album. You can find the details of the recipe card in this Taco Soup post.
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back soon with something new. Until then...

JustRite Week - Day Five
I hope you have enjoyed all the projects The Dream Team has created for you this week half as much as we've enjoyed creating them!
For today's card I used the Stitched With Love set along with a 2 3/8" Wood Stamper to stamp the center and border. For the center I used my Versafine Onyx Black Ink Cube , then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I LOVE that little ink cube...it's perfect for small areas. The zig zag border was stamped with red pigment ink, then embossed. Both were stamped on Intense Yellow Prismatics cardstock, then cut with Spellbinders circles.
The panel behind the sentiment was cut using my Spellbinders Labels Four Nestabilities .
All designer paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl paper pad. The ribbon is May Arts 1.5" Red Silk . The red cardstock layer is Classic Red and the card base is Herbal Garden Medium Prismatics.
Be sure to hop on over to see the JustRite projects Cindy and Dawn have for you today.
Thanks so much for stopping by this week. We really enjoyed having you! I hope you have a fabulous Friday!

JustRite Week - Day 3 at Stamper's Dream
I have to tell you that The Dream Team and I have had so much fun with JustRite week...and there is more to come!
For this card I used the Joyful Hearts set with my Small Oval Wood Stamper to stamp the sentiment. I used Onyx Black Versafine ink to stamp on the Frosted Yellow Prismatics cardstock, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The border was stamped on Spring Willow Prismatics . I added green Mini Pearls around the border and scallop at the bottom of the card.
The panel behind the sentiment was cut using Spellbinders Labels Eight . I distressed the edges just a bit with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink .
The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Origins 6 x 6 paper pad. The ribbon is Olive/Antique Gold Iridescent ribbon by May Arts.

JustRite Week - Day 2
Welcome to JustRite week at Stamper's Dream ! All week The Dream Team will be showing you fabulous samples using the latest JustRite releases. The full schedule is below.
For today's card I used the Stitched With Love borders and centers, stamped with a 2 3/8" Wood Stamper . First I stamped the center on Butter Cream Prismatics cardstock with Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I stamped just the spool of thread once again, cut it out and put thread around it then added a needle.
The border was stamped on Blush Red Medium Prismatics then layered on a scalloped circle of Mystic Light Prismatics . The Blush Red Dark panel behind that was cut and embossed with a Spellbinders Labels Three Nestability die.
The scissors and mini sewing machine are from the Maya Road Sew Cute Mini Chipboard set. The scissors were sprayed with Latte Metallic Maya Mist . The sewing machine was covered with paper from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl paper pad. In fact, all designer paper is Material Girl.
The buttons are from the Wood Buttons and Red Buttons grab bags by Buttons Galore.
This picture is just to show you some of the dimension.

Fairy Sweet
Did you know that Stamper's Dream now has stamps from My Favorite Things ? We have the latest release in the store, and their Pure Innocence girls are here too!
This image is from the February release, and is called Fairy Sweet Jolline . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers . To get the sparkle on her wings I used my Quickie Glue Pen then sprinkled on Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter .
The texture behind the sentiment is Pink Wired Net from May Arts which I cut using a circle Nestability. The flower was made with punches, and I added a pink rhinestone in the center. I also added a small Mini Rhinestone to her necklace.
All designer paper is from the Sugar Rush paper pad. The cardstock is Vibrant Cobalt and Frosted Pink Prismatics.
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back soon with something new.

ARRGGHH....
are you ready for some fun?
Now how many ways can you take what that sentment could mean? LOL!
I know this isn't my usual style, but I thought this stamp set was so cute I couldn't resist! All the images on this card are from the *NEW* My Cute Stamps set called Pirate Boy . I put both images on my Acrylic Block , inked with Onyx Black Versafine ink, and stamped on watercolor paper. The stamped image was embossed using JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I then colored with Tombow Markers and blended with a damp paint brush.
The sentiment was stamped on 5/8" Natural Twill using Rich Cocoa Brown Memento ink. I frayed the edges a bit to give it a rustic look, then aged the twill with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink .
The designer paper is from the Old World paper kit by Kaisercraft. The cardstock is Crabapple Dark and Vibrant Teal Prismatics .
I thank you for stopping by my blog today. I will be back soon with something new!
