This is a really fun card, fit for most any occasion. It is the Hero Arts Flower Doodle, stamped and embossed in black. I used a black Tombow to make a doodle for the stem. The next time I should probably pencil it in first. Oh well...live and learn!
I selected some colorful background paper that I had in my stash, then used my Tombow markers to color the flower in complimentary colors. Add a little ribbon and a few strips of pink cardstock for an accent, and voila!

A new card...
I really enjoyed making this card. It’s the first one I’ve made in a while where I didn’t feel under pressure to get something finished for a class or for the gallery on my website. Oh, the joys of just playing with stamps and paper!
I used Basic Grey paper from the Perhaps collection. The stamp is one from a Hero Arts set called Personal Messages. I love that set because it has so many possibilities. And of course I had to use my scalloped punches. Don’t you just love those tiny flowers? For the center I used white opal Liquid Pearls.
I will admit that I could use some photography tips. My neice will graduate from La Tech this summer with a degree in photography. Maybe she could help me? She even has a website. You can find it here. http://devonalyse.wordpress.com/

Here I am...again!
I know some of you thought I had fallen off the face of the earth, but here I am again. As you can see, I decided to create my own blog. I am really new to blogs, and will admit that I don't have a clue what I'm doing. It will be a learning process, for sure. So bear with me while I work my way through this...okay?
