Time for Dreamy Treats!

I guess I have been so distracted with everything going on that I hardly realized I passed 50,000 hits! Can you believe it?

When I first started blogging I remember seeing bloggers celebrating 50,000 and thinking to myself, it will take me *light years* to get there. Well, thanks to you all, it didn't!

So....I'm having a Dreamy Treats giveaway! It's my way of thanking all of you for continuing to come back each day.

Included is this new clear stamp set from Rubber Soul. It's called Target Love. And I have to tell you it was difficult for me not to keep this for myself! Isn't it just too adorable???

Also included is the Cuttlebug Playful Squares embossing set. You are only getting this because somehow I managed to buy two. I KNOW none of you ever do that! LOL! You can see the Black Diamond and Copper Stickles, because I think everyone should have those, and also pink Gemstones from Hero Arts, Pastel Glimmer Brads, as well as about 15 ft of assorted May Arts ribbons.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, or any post after this one before the deadline. No special rules about what your comment must be. It can even be a question. So surprise me, okay? I will announce the winner on Sunday, Feb 3. Since I don't have random.cara, I will use the random selector thingy. You may leave one comment on each post, so that gives you regulars extra chances to win. Fair enough?

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate you so much!

Changito Again...

I've been racing around like a crazy lady for a couple of days! But I whipped up this card pretty quickly so I would have something to post tonight. I felt kinda bad about not having anything for you to look at in my last post. Some days, it just doesn't happen like we have it planned, ya know?

This adorable image is Stampendous Changito Bouquet . It's such a cute stamp, and could be appropriate for so many different occasions. You will notice that I didn't stamp a sentiment on the outside. When I need a quick card, I can stamp something on the inside that will suit my needs at the time.

I stamped on watercolor paper then colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen. I added Stickles Glitter Glue to the flowers he's holding.

The Prima flowers have a Glimmer Brad in the center. Aren't those cute and sparkly?

The ribbon is from my stash, but I know I got it at Michael's. Since it's sheer, I put a piece of yellow cardstock behind it so the designer paper didn't show through. The designer paper is from Gin X.

Before I forget to tell you....there is a big sale going on in the store. More than 80 items are 25% off...including all the Marvy Clever Lever Heart Punches.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll have more tomorrow.

New "Stuff" in the Store!

Sorry I'm so late posting tonight. And to make bad matters worse, I don't even have a card for you! LOL!

I've been super busy listing the new Hero Arts stamps in the store tonight. WOW! There are some gorgeous ones, too! You can find them HERE . Be sure to look toward the end for the newest ones that arrived today.

I also have a lot of new embellishments. They include screw top brads, adhesives gems in every color, and pearls in two sizes. You can find them HERE .

And I have also restocked the Liquid Pearls, which you can find HERE .

Whew! I've been at this for 3 hours now, so I think I'm gonna take a little break! I promise to have something new for you tomorrow night.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

So Kind

This was a pretty quick and simple card I made last night.

The floral image is from Hero Arts Solid Flowers Flourish stamp set. I colored on the rubber using my Tombow markers, spritzed with water using a JudiKins Fine Mist Spritzer to remoisten the ink, then stamped on white cardstock.

I used my oval Nestabilities to cut and emboss the stamped image, as well as the pink oval and the scalloped green layer. I do love my Nestabilities!
The sentiment is from the Hero Arts So Many Messages stamp set. Be sure to look at that set...it's a great one! I colored on the rubber with a Tombow marker then stamped on white cardstock. I used both my small and medium SU! ovals to cut and layer the image.

After I put the card together I decided I wasn't crazy about the ribbon with this Paper Adventures designer paper, but it was too late. Oh well....it does match. I would just have preferred something a bit wider, and maybe a little more vibrant. (I'm trying to learn not to sweat the small stuff! Obviously I need more practice in that area!) LOL!

My friend Mary stopped by tonight to visit and do a little shopping. She even brought dinner for me. Wasn't that super sweet? Love ya Mary! So I'm going to enjoy my dinner while I watch the State of the Union.

Thanks so much for stopping by.....more tomorrow.

Until then...

Greetings! and a Lesson

Greetings is the name of this cute little hedgy!

I made this card for today's SCS Featured Stamper's Challenge. Today's featured stamper is StampinPam . She has a GREAT gallery, and I thoroughly enjoyed cruising through all her fabulous designs! The card I chose to case is HERE .

I changed everything about the card except the design. I really liked her layout, and since that's typically the most difficult part for me, I'm always happy to use someone else's design!

Before you say, "What WAS she thinking!", I need to point out a *tactical* error I made! Lesson learned...when you adhere something with a Glue Dot to paper, it CANNOT be moved! I don't think I will forget that anytime soon. I adhered the orange flower in position before I realized I didn't like it there. Quickly I discovered that it cannot be moved...it tears the paper. Now, I'm smarter than I was a little earlier today. (I guess that's a good thing?) LOL! Take heed! Learn from MY mistake!

The stamp I used is Penny Black's Greetings . I think that little guy is just way too cute! I stamped it on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The green scalloped panel is stamped with Penny Black's Scrolling Along . I used VersaMark Ink to stamp, then embossed with detail white embossing powder.

The sentiment is from Wordsworth. It's called You Are My Sunshine . I've used it several times. I just love the small size as well as the sentiment itself.

So that's it for me tonight. I am older and wiser. And I know Martha would say that's a good thing!

Have a great week...and thanks for stopping by!

You Make Me Smile

First I want to thank you all for your thoughtful comments on yesterday's post. I think I was just a little "frazzled" and needed an evening off! I'm sure there will be more days like that, but hopefully it won't be anytime soon!

I adore this cute little frog! It's a Penny Black stamp called Jump for Joy! . I stamped it on watercolor paper then colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen.
The sentiment, also from Penny Black, is appropriately called You Make Me Smile . After stamping the sentiment I punched it out with my larger SU! Oval. I then punched another oval in pink and layered it behind the sentiment. The green oval behind that is a McGill punch that has been discontinued, darn it. I hate that because it's such a nice compliment to the SU! Oval.

The pink background is simply cardstock stamped with only the daisy portion of the Jump for Joy stamp. I inked it using VersaMark ink, then embossed with white embossing powder.

To complete the card I put a bead of Stickles Glitter Glue around the edge of each of the stamped panels. Actually, the Stickles wasn't dry when I photographed this card. That's why it looks a little lumpy!

I have ribbon that matches this card perfectly. As hard as I tried, I just couldn't find a place to put it! Why is it that we always seem to want to add more! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by tonight. I will be back tomorrow with something new.

Enjoy your weekend!

So.....

I was frantitically trying to finish a card I've been working on so I could post it tonight, while also watching dinner on the stove and simultaneously working on an order for some new stamps for the store. Maybe a little too much multi tasking, ya think?

Then...everything began to go wrong. I wasn't happy with the designer paper, the embellishments weren't exactly right...PANIC set in. Yikes!

So....I have decided to take tonight off. Relax. Breathe. Find some balance in my life after crazy marathon day at the office.

I will be back soon....with a card that I like!

Thanks for your patience...I'm still a work in progress! Hang in there with me!

Pink Tigress

I have to admit that I'm not thrilled with this card. IMHO, it's too pink. This just may be a tanker! My friend Tosh refers to cards she makes and doesn't like as "tankers". LOL! Actually, she hasn't made one YET that I didn't like! :-)

The stamp is Penny Black's Tigress . I think it is such a beautiful stamp, and I didn't do it justice here.

I stamped it on watercolor paper, then colored the image with Tombow markers and a blender pen using shades of pink to compliment the designer paper. The corners were punched with a Concave Corner Punch , then I used my new Pearlized Mini Brads in the corners.

The stamen on the flowers were embellished with Raspberry Liquid Pearls for color and dimension.

For the sentiment panel I used Penny Black's Harlequin Border and colored on the rubber with Tombow markers. You could also ink it with a stamp pad. I overstamped the harlequin design with Think Spring .

For finish it off I used Hero Arts crystals on the corners of some of the harlequins. I like the added dimension with just a touch of bling!

I assure you that I will be using this stamp again! I need to prove to myself that I can make something with it that I really like! It's a personal thing, you know?

Thanks for stopping by, and for all your comments. I read them every one!

Congrats!

This is another card made from the Hero Arts Solid Flowers Flourish stamp set. You may recall that I made a card with this set a few days ago.

I colored on the rubber with my Tombow markers, spritzed with water using a JudiKins Mister , then stamped on watercolor paper. The sentiment is Wordsworth's Congrats! Isn't that a beautiful font?
Instead of coloring on the rubber with markers, you could easily use Cat's Eyes or VersaCubes to ink the rubber on the flower stamp. I've done it both ways.

The designer paper is from a DCWV Mat Stack called The Spring Matstack. I bought it at JoAnn's a while back with a coupon. The gems are Citron Adhesive Gems from Hero Arts. I have ALL their gems and pearls on order...and they should be here next week.

The ribbon is May Arts. It matches in real life...but not so well in this photo. I totally don't get that...but it happens!

I received a shipment from Penny Black tonight. Those images are already listed in the store. You can find the new ones HERE if you scroll to the end. And they are cute, cute, cute! So be sure to check them out!

Thanks again for stopping by. I'm off to make dinner then crash! :-)

St. Patrick's Day Gnome

First, I have to tell you that I gave my boss his Birthday Card today. He really admired it and commented about how beautiful it was, then gave me the biggest hug ever! We had meetings most of the day, and he even showed it to several people who came in for the meetings. Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased!

On to today's card. I wish I could take credit for this, but I pretty much cased a card in the Stampendous catalog. It was hard not to. The card had to be green, right? And they did such a beautiful job. That is WHY I bought these stamps for the store in the first place!
The main image is called Gnome Clover . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The Clover Border and Best of Luck were stamped with VersaMark ink, then embossed with detail white embossing powder. I added a little Stickles Glitter Glue to the shamrock for sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Flourish Lily

I've had this designer paper for a while, and just didn't know if I could work with it since it's out of my normal color palette. But since I found cardstock and ribbon in my stash to match, I decided to give it a go! It's good to work out of our comfort zone, right? LOL!

The flower stamp is Hero Art's Flourish Lily . I was drawn to this image because of it's wispy look. And since I love to watercolor, this image is perfect for that!

I stamped on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen using colors to coordinate with the designer paper. I used a Tombow blender pen to blend the colors together.
The sentiment is also from a Hero Arts. It's a new release set called So Many Messages . I love the font, and the fact that there are 6 sentiments in the set...something for most any occasion.

The designer paper is from Bo-Bunny, and the ribbon is from American Crafts.

I was off work today for the holiday, but it's back to the salt mines tomorrow. I accomplished quite a bit, but there is always more to be done, isn't there? Where DID the time go?

Thanks for stopping by.....have a great Tuesday!

Thinking...and smiling! FS50

This is the card I made today for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast. Today's featured stamper is KathyC . She has a great gallery, so be sure to check it out.

The card I chose to case can be seen HERE . According to the rules of the challenge, you must change 2 or more things on the card. I changed everything except her layout. I loved the simple layout, and it's a great one to showcase a favorite sentiment.

Speaking of favorite sentiments, this is one of mine. It's Penny Black's Thinking...and smiling . You could use that sentiment for a LOT of different people...male, female, and it's even appropriate for my grands! After all, I DO smile when I think of them. :)

This card is a perfect example of what great paper and accessories can do for you. Only the sentiment is stamped. I used my square Nestabilities to frame the sentiment.

The designer paper is from Fancy Pants. I found it on my Dallas shopping trip a couple of months ago. And the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I found it in the floral department a while back...on sale for 50% off!

I'm off work tomorrow for the holiday. Woo hoo! I have a long list of things I want to accomplish. But then, I might just have to stamp a little. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Have a great evening...and thanks for stopping by!

Masculine Duck

My boss is having a birthday this week, so I decided to make him a card. He is an AVID duck hunter, and his entire office is covered with all things duck. So this card will be very appropriate for him. Since really enjoys seeing my work, I think he will appreciate the card.

The stamp is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps and is called Single Duck .

I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen. I do love to color!

I've never seen a duck up close, except the ones I found swimming in my pool last summer. Did you see THIS post? So I'm not sure exactly what color a duck is. Let's hope this is pretty close, because if it isn't he will definitey know!

After coloring the image I distressed the watercolor paper using Ranger Old Paper and Vintage Photo Inks. Then I distressed the edges using my Paper Distresser .

The designer paper is from Paper Pizazz. I think those colors will match his office perfectly!

Thanks so much for stopping by tonight...more tomorrow.

Easter Wishes

I guess it may seem a little early for Easter, but this stamp was calling my name today! Funny how that works, isn't it?

I probably don't have to tell you this is a Penny Black stamp, now do I? It's called Egg Craft!

I stamped on watercolor paper using VersaMark ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Black embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The sentiment is also from Penny Black, and is called Easter Wishes . I just love the font on that stamp!

I used a corner rounder on the edges of all the panels, as well as the yellow note card.

My friend Cammie has inspired me to use my Cuttlebug label holders. She has used them on several cards lately, and they are so cute! You can see mine on each side of the sentiment. I just love them, but seem to forget about having them. (Does that mean I have too much stuff?)

The designer paper is Confetti by Paper Loft, and the ribbon is from May Arts.

Thanks so much for stopping by tonight! I hope you all have a long weekend with the holiday on Monday, and that it's a great one!

Thank You Very Much!

No stamping tonight!

This is a card I made a month or so ago, then decided I didn't like it and didn't post it. I just think it needs something more. Well, since I didn't have anything else for you tonight I decided to post it anyway.

The background stamp is a favorite of mine, and I really do need to use it more often. It's JudiKins Deco Background . I stamped it on blue cardstock using brown ink. I *think* I used VersaMagic Jumbo Java. It was then embossed using JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.
The sentiment is Outlines Thank you very much! . I stamped it twice, once on cream cardstock with brown ink, then again on cream cardstsock using blue ink. The center of the blue stamped layer was cut out and layered over the brown layer using Scotch Mounting Tape for dimension.

Very quick and simple card...but sometimes we need those, don't we?

I am going to enjoy having the night off, and do some things around my terribly neglected house! I am, however, already working on a new card for tomorrow, so please be sure to stop back by.

Until then....

Flower Flourish - SC159

I made this card for today's sketch challenge on SCS. If you've never played along, I strongly encourage it. You can find the SCS Challenges HERE .

I was DETERMINED to use this designer paper. It's the Basic Grey Lily Kate collection. I bought a 6 x 6 pad of it quite a while ago, and don't think I've ever used any of it. Those colors really just aren't "me" but I'm going for it anyway! Tonight's the night! LOL!

The stamp I used is from a Hero Arts set called Solid Flower Flourishes . I colored on the rubber with my Tombow markers, then spritzed with water using a JudiKins Fine Mister and stamped on white cardstock.
The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things set called Bundle of Bouquets . I stamped it with VersaMagic Pretty Petunia ink, then cut it out using the smaller SU! oval. The larger SU! oval is the purple layer behind it, and the layer behind that one is another SU! punch.

The ribbon is a two sided lavendar and green ribbon from May Arts.

Update on Cuttlebug Folders - Since I've had quite a few inquiries, I called my distributor today to see when I could expect the new Cuttlebug folders. They have been on pre-order since October! I was told that Provo Craft has decided not to release them until CHA, which will be in mid February. BIG bummer! :-( But I wanted all of you to know so you can plan accordingly.

I will be sending a Nestabilities order on Friday, so if anyone wants me to include something in this order, please let me know as soon as possible.

So....that's it for me! I'm off to make something for dinner, then answer some emails. I also have some stamps to package for tomorrow's mail. THEN I'm going to take a little nap. LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hero Arts Monogram Card

Just a quick card tonight. I had something else prepared to post, but sold out of the stamps used on that card today, so I had to "punt"!

This card with created with the new Hero Arts Monogram Clear Design stamp set. If you like monogrammed cards, you MUST see this set!

Honestly, this card really WAS quick and easy! I stamped the "M" on white cardstock, then using my frame, I stamped over it using Opera Pink VersaColor ink. Because the stamps are clear, I didn't need a stamp positioner. I used JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder to emboss.
The stamped image was trimmed, then layered twice in colors to coordinate with the designer paper.

I wish I knew the name of the designer paper, but it just was a scrap I had in my stash, so there was nothing printed on the back.

The green ribbon is Offray, which I found at Walmart. I layered it with a little pink ribbon I found at Michael's.

So simple...so quick and easy.

I LOVE monogrammed cards, and this set has so many possibilities. You will probably be sick of it before I finish exhausting all the options available.

So....that's it for me. Thanks for stopping by. I want you to know that I read every comment, and they are all greatly appreciated.

Think Spring!

I don't know what kind of mood I must have been when I made this card. I almost NEVER use orange cardstock! Maybe I was trying to break out of my comfort zone? Beats me!

The flower stamp on the bottom of the card is Penny Black's Wind Caressed . I stamped it twice using VersaMark ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Black embossing powder. The flowers and butterfly were colored with Tombow markers.

The cute little butterfly is Heart Flutter , also by Penny Black. I stamped it on watercolor paper using VersaMark, then embossed with JudiKins Black Opal embossing powder. It has a little glitter in it, and I wanted some sparkle!
I stamped the butterfly again on my main panel, then adhered the first butterfy over it with Scotch Mounting Tape for dimension.

The sentiment is Penny Black's Think Spring! . I just love the font, and think it's such a pretty stamp. It was also embossed with JudiKins Black Opal embossing powder.

The corners were punched with my SU! punch. I added Hero Arts adhesive rhinestones to them for a little more dazzle.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will have something new for you tomorrow night.

Until then.....

Hook, Line & Sinker

It was just killing me to see this adorable little stamp on the shelf still uninked. So I took the opportunity to use it today to participate in the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge.

Today's featured stamper is Veronica aka I'mVeronica on SCS. You can view her fantastic gallery HERE . And the card that I chose to CASE can be seen HERE .

The cute little hedgie is a Penny Black stamp called Hook, Line & Sinker . It was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The background is pink cardstock stamped with my SU! Linen background stamp. I used VersaColor Scarlet ink. On the bottom right corner I added three little red brads.

NEWS FLASH!
My son just called to tell me that Little Jacob (my 3 year-old grandson) is very distraught. His only pet, Myrtle the Turtle, passed away last evening at approximately 7:30 pm. Funeral arrangements are pending. Your condolances are appreciated.

So that's it for me tonight, peeps! I'm off to make dinner and try to catch up around the house. I just realized that Desperate Housewives isn't coming on tonight. What's up with that??? My friend Carol said there is a new episode of Brothers & Sisters tonight, so I don't want to miss that!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great Monday.

Guest Designer

Please give a HUGE Stamper's Dream welcome to Lynda Benden aka lbenden on SCS. She is my first ever Guest Designer for Stamper's Dream Stamps . I am truly honored to have her working with the team!

Lynda is a guest designer for Starving Artistamps, and has also been a guest designer for Jacksonbelle. And once you see her work, you will know exactly why!

Please check out her blog at Stamp Act and her SCS Gallery and I know you will agree that the girl has tremendous talent! And besides that, she's a sweet lady!

Thanks Lynda.....you ROCK!

April Showers...

This is a card I started on a couple of nights ago, then got distracted with new stamp orders arriving. So I really forgot what my original concept was. Oh well, I just went with it! LOL!

That adorable little bear is Penny Black's Rainin' Daisies . Isn't that just the sweetest stamp?

I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored the image with Tombow markers and a Tombow blender pen.

The sentiment is also from Penny Black, and I thought it was perfect for the image. It's called Rain and Flowers . It was also stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with detail clear embossing powder.

The pink background is cardstock stamped with Scrolling Along . I used VersaMark ink for the watermark effect.

I found the Offray ribbon at Wal Mart. The prima flowers are there to cover a little accident. I was putting away my markers and the lid came off one of them. Of course, it landed right on top of my sentiment. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Don't you just hate it when that happens?

So...that's it for me tonight. I'm actually going to try to do a few things around the house and turn in a bit early. And that NEVER happens! Well, on second thought maybe I will just enjoy a little stamping instead! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I do so appreciate each and every one of you!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous Friday!

Yum!

What a night! The new Hero Arts stamps were on my doorstep when I got home from the office, so I just HAD to oooh and aahhhh over them. And I also got them listed in the store. You can find them HERE . Be sure to scroll to the end to see the new ones.

So....I didn't finish the card I was working on last night, and certainly didn't have any stamping time this evening. Just as I was about to totally freak out, I remembered that my good friend Debbie Gunion (who is also my stamp rep) sent me an adorable card a couple of days ago. Without Debbie I wouldn't have anything to show you tonight! Love ya Debbie! SmileyCentral.com

This stamp is from the NEW Hero Arts Clear Design Cupcakes stamp set. Is that not the most adorable set?

It was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored with Tombow markers. She used Stickles Glitter Glue on the swirls and the cherry.

The ribbon is from May Arts, and the cardstock is Bazzill.

So....do you want to know a really big secret??? If I told you would you promise not to tell anyone? Yeah...right! Like I'm gonna fall for that one! LOL! I will be announcing the names of the first EVAH Stamper's Dream "Dream Team" tomorrow night. Can you stand it? Don't you want to know who it is? Well, I'll tell you...tomorrow night.

I know...my bad!

Flowers in pink and black

I think that title sounds like the name of a Georgia O'Keefe painting! LOL!

I'm loving this flower image from the Gina K Designs stamp set called Simple Pleasures . Besides the main decorative images, this set has GREAT sentiments!

I stamped the flowers on white cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.
The flowers and leaves were colored with Tombow markers to match the background paper. The designer paper is from The Paper Studio. I found it at Hobby Lobby last weekend. I just LOVE pink and black.

The ribbon is from May Arts. Actually, it matches this paper perfectly, but for some reason doesn't look that way in these photos. What's up with that?

The sentiment is also in the Gina K Simple Pleasures stamp set.

I'm working on something new for tomorrow night. I really need to get it finished, because the new Hero Arts stamps are due to arrive tomorrow evening. And I can't WAIT to get my hands on those!

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow, and hope you are too!

Sending you sunshine

Yes, I am trying to send you some sunshine since it is more than 70 degrees here in Louisiana today! LOL!

Sorry to be a little late posting tonight, but I've been SUPER busy since I walked in the door from the office. New new Penny Black stamps arrived, so I've been hopping to get them listed in the store for you. You can find them HERE . You will need to look toward the end of the listings for the new ones.

This card is from another Gina K Designs stamp set. It's called Just Be Claws . You may remember a card or two I've made from this set already!

Nothing tricky about this card, really. The main image was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored the stamped image using my Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The sentiment is from Wordsworth and is called You Are My Sunshine! . I love the size, as well as the font.

I think the rest is self explanatory. As always, please feel free to email me if I left out something important.

Well...one day down, and four more to go until the weekend! But, who's counting? LOL!

Thanks for stopping by. More tomorrow......

Think Happy Thoughts

Today's featured stamper on SCS is Nancy Riley aka Stampinat6213! Please check out her gallery . You can find the card I CASED HERE .

Since I had never made a criss cross card I decided this was the time because Nancy has a gorgeous one in her gallery.

There is a GREAT tutorial for making Criss Cross cards by Beate on the Splitcoast site. You can find it HERE .

All the stamps used are from Inkadinkado. The sentiment is Think Happy Thoughts . I really love that saying, as well as its size. And it was perfect here!

The flower is Inkadinkado's Crepe Paper Flower . I stamped it twice on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow markers. One is popped up on top of the other with Scotch Mounting Tape .

The circles were cut and embossed with my circle Nestabilities. The punch at the top is a SU! punch, and the designer paper is Paper Loft's confetti.

My friend Carol said there is a new episode of Desperate Housewives tonight, so I'm off to watch it. The last episiode before the reruns was a real cliffhanger! And what is Cashmere Mafia that's coming on after that? What happened to Brothers & Sisters????? Apparently, I'm totally out of the loop! LOL!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It's back to work tomorrow. Faint
