It's JustRite week at Stamper's Dream! The entire *Dream Team* has been super busy making fabulous projects to showcase different JustRite Stamper products for you.
This is my project, which is a 5" x 8" notepad I bought at WalMart. But you'd never know it by looking, would you? These make such fantastic gifts for colleagues and teachers. And they are so inexpensive to make! I think three of these lined notepads come in a package for about $4. Look for them in the office supply section.
I considered doing a tutorial, but decided this post would be entirely too long. So if any of this isn't clear, please let me know and I will be happy to do a tutorial on it later.
The top cover is a piece of cardstock covered with Basic Grey Ambrosia cardstock. I adhered the designer paper to the cardstock using Mono Multi Liquid Glue . Since the cardstock is 8" long and my designer paper is only 6", I left a 1" gap at the top (which gets covered up), and a 1" gap where another layer goes on the bottom portion. Be sure to adhere this piece to your notepad at the top with red line tape. That's where all the stress will be.
I stamped my sentiment from the Harmony Circle Ensemble III on Neenah Natural White cardstock, then colored using Tombow (water based) markers. All circles were cut an embossed with my circle Nestabilities. The butterfly border, also in the Harmony Circle III Ensemble was stamped with VersaColor Topaz ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.
The top portion of the notepad measures 2" x 5", and is scored at 1" and 1.25" to fold over the top of the notepad. Be sure to adhere it using red line tape! The cardstock used is Blush Red Prismatics dark, Papaya Puree Prismatics dark, and Stormy Prismatics light.
This is the schedule for JustRite week. So be sure to watch to see what The Dream Team in store for you!
Monday - Denise and me, of course! LOL!
Tuesday - Charmaine and Kimberly
Wednesday - Tosha and Amy
Thursday - This was Laurie's day to post, but since she's been away taking care of Ali, the entire Dream Team decided to pitch in and post for her! We love you Laurie! Take good care, okay? We are all still praying! Don't I have the sweetest design team members ever? Thanks guys...you never cease to amaze me in every possible way! :-)
Friday - Carolyn and Cindy
Oh yeah....how could I forget? There is a little DREAMY TREAT up for the offering! Yep, we will give away a JustRite Christmas Stamp Ensemble and the Classic Circle Stamper III ! All you have to do is leave a comment on THIS POST no later than midnight Saturday night. I will announce the winner Sunday evening in my regular post. This is the question I want you to answer: If you could have any stamping related thing for Christmas, what would it be? It can be a tool, embellishment, paper pack, whatever you would like to receive! But it must be stamping related. Now that's not a tough question, is it? LOL! I mean, we all *need* some new things, don't we?
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be back very soon with something new. Until then...

Fancy Pants ChrisMoose
I had a little time to play last night, so I made this card with my new paper and Nestabilities. Gotta LOVE new toys!
The image is Stampendous Merry ChrisMoose . I stamped it on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow (water based) markers.
I stamped just the sentiment once more and punched it out with a small SU! oval punch. The main image was cut amd embossed with my new Labels Two Nestabilities , as is the red panel behind it.
The designer paper is from my new Happy Holidays paper pad from Fancy Pants! There are sooooo many pretty papers in that pad, so you will definitely be seeing it here again! The red cardstock is Blush Red Prismatics dark, and the card base is Suede Brown Prismatics dark. The red twill is from my stash.
If you're a regular here you know that I don't typically post on Sunday morning. But since I will be posting tomorrow morning I decided not to save this card until tonight. You see, the entire DREAM TEAM has special plans for you this week. And it DOES involve a nice Dreamy Treat as well. So be sure to come back tomorrow morning to see what we have in store for you.
Have a fabulous Sunday!

Blessed Night...
I bought this image because I thought it would be perfect for the men on my Christmas list. Not too sweet...not too frilly. For that reason I stayed away from bright colors, going for a more natural look. I do think when I use this stamp again I will brighten it up a bit.
The image is Northwoods Blessed Night . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow (water based) markers.
To cover up a little a mistake I made, I stamped a portion of the image once more, and cut it out. You may notice that the largest tree is popped up with foam tape. Don't you love it when you can fix a boo-boo? I added a touch of Yellow Stickles to the star for emphasis and sparkle.
The corners are small diagonal pieces of cardstock. The green ones were cut with Deckle scissors and popped up with foam tape. The rhinestones are Kaiser Craft Bronze Rhinestones . I really wanted to use more bling or ribbon, but in trying to keep it masculine, I contained myself! LOL!
The sentiment on the inside of the card is Northwoods All Nature Whispers . Again, I think it works well for a masculine card. Louisiana is called the "Sportsmen's Paradise". And all the men on my Christmas list are hunters and outdoorsmen.
The yellow/gold cardstock is Sunflower Prismatics dark. The card base is Suede Brown Dark , and the green is Sage Prismatics .
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to get some stamping time this weekend, so I will be back with something else soon.
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Sympathy Cards
A couple of weeks ago a friend asked me to make a few sympathy cards for him. As much as I do not like to make sympathy cards (who does?) it's sometimes necessary. Since he was in a hurry for them I had to make something quick and easy.
This card was made with Paper Inspirations Cat Tails rubber stamp. It's one of my favorites for masculine cards, but I think it worked well here too.
I colored on the rubber with my Tombow (water based) markers, spritzed with water using a JudiKins Extra Fine Mister , then stamped on Neenah Natural White cardstock. It was cut and embossed with my Petite Oval Nestabilities.
The background layer was textured with my Dotted Swiss Cuttlebug folder (currently out of stock). I used my ScorPal to make a couple of score lines, then stamped the sentiment from an old stamp that I use a lot. It's by Printworks.
You will notice that I stamped the cream colored envelope with the Cat Tails to match the card.
The second card was SUPER quick and easy. I let my Inque Boutique Memoirs designer paper do most of the work.
The sentiment is With Sympathy . I simply added a few Prima flowers, and a Kaiser Craft Pearl .
The cardstock is Stormy Prismatics .
To make it a little more special I lined the envelope with the same Memoirs paper. But did I remember to take a picture of that before I gave it to him? No.....
So, by now I hope all of you have heard the good news that Laurie , Ali and Urs are going home tomorrow. I have to tell you, I've been on Cloud 9 all day! You can catch up with all the news on the SCS Thread HERE . Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon.
Until then...

Gingerbread House
I simply adore this Gingerbread House! The stamp is from The Artful Stamper, and the stamp is called Ginger House .
I stamped it twice on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored one image using my Tombow (water based) markers and a damp paintbrush.
On the second image I just colored selected candies to cut out and pop up over the main image using foam tape. Since I love dimension, I do that every time I get the chance! LOL!
I added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the roof. I wanted a look that was more smooth than puffy. I added White Liquid Applique to the center of one of the chocolate candies. Can you see the different looks you get with the different products? I used Brown Liquid Applique on the chocolate candies to give them a little texture. Tip: If you don't want your Liquid Applique to be really puffy, just let it dry naturally, not using your heat tool.
The sugar/ice on the ground was created by adding a thin layer of Frosted Lace stickles. You can see that I also added Stickles to some of the candies.
I have no idea where the designer paper came from. It was a scrap in my stash. And I LOVE IT when I can use up scraps! The cardstock is Classic Red Prismatics and Classic Yellow Green Prismatics .
Thanks so very much for stopping by.

Willow with Cookies
Before I move on to today's card, I want to express my most heartfelt gratitude to all of you praying for Laurie and her family. Many have emailed me for their address to send cards of encouragement. I just know that when they get home from Seattle, their mailbox will be overflowing with loving words from so many of you. It makes my heart so happy to know what a wonderful stamping community we have, and how everyone wraps their love and prayers around those in need.
We don't expect more news until tomorrow evening, or maybe even Tuesday. More extensive tests are planned for tomorrow, and they will need to get those results to have new information. In the meantime, keep praying. You can follow the threat regarding Ali's progress on SCS HERE .
Now, you must have known that when I got that shipment of stamps from Whiff of Joy this week that it wouldn't be long before I inked one up! LOL! They are just so darned cute!
The stamps come unmounted, and they are not on cling foam. In one of our marathon phone conversations this week I asked Tosha what she does with unmounted stamps. She said she simply uses double stick tape on the back of the image to adhere it to her acrylic block, then uses one of the foam pads that comes with Inque Boutique stamps underneath it. I'm definitely going to give her method a try the next time, because I had already ordered cling foam from Blockheads Paper Arts . I was really impressed with their customer service, and their shipping was super fast! I love that! I stamped Willow with Cookies on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with detail clear embossing powder. I colored the stamped image with Tombow (water based) markers.
I really had not intended to cut out the image, but I had a little boo-boo which made it unavoidable. Somehow I accidentally got red ink on my hand, which transferred to the w/c paper. Don't you hate it when that happens?
I used my Nestabilities petite ovals to cut the ovals. The paper is Cosmo Cricket Winter Wonderland. I bought it last year and never used it, so I was excited when I ran across it this weekend. The cardstock is Sunflower Prismatics , Sage Prismatics and I think the red is Blush Red Prismatics . I forgot to write that one down. The ribbon is from my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back soon with something new.

Birthday Gift Card
First things first! I am sure that by now many of you have heard the sad news about Laurie Schmidlin. Yesterday her daughter had an MRI, and they found a brain tumor. Devastating news, indeed! Laurie and Urs left VERY early this morning taking her to Seattle where she will have a biopsy to determine if the tumor is cancerous. She has some swelling in her brain, and they are concerned about that. As soon as we get more news from Laurie I will be sure to let you all know.
PLEASE, keep them in your prayers. I sent cards to both Laurie and Ali today. And I am encouraging each of you to send cards to them as well. It's the least thing we can do. She needs to know how much we love her, and how much we care. If you would like to send cards, please email me for Laurie's address.
Remember this card from a couple of weeks ago? It's one of my favorite Christmas cards!I used the same stamps to make a card which I was going to post later the same week, but the stamps sold out so I never posted it. Well, the stamps are NOW back in stock!
This card was really pretty quick and easy. I stamped Northwoods Plaid Bow and Ribbon on pink cardstock using Sepia Versafine ink. I sponged a little pink ink on the bows for a bit of contrasting color. Then I cut out the bows and popped them up with foam tape for dimension.
The stamps I used for the Happy Birthday card are from the Hero Arts Cupcakes clear design set. I used my rectangle Nestabilities scallop die to cut and emboss the pink card.
I even decorated the inside with one of the small flowers from the Hero Arts Cupcake set. I have Densie to thank for that. She always does something on the inside of her cards, and I just love the way it looks!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
