Another card from Saturday's get-together!
This one was designed by my friend Jimmie. She's quite the artist! Jimmie has been published several times, most recently in Feb/March 2007 issue of The Stamper's Sampler. The article was about Corroded Copper techniques. If you haven't seen it, you MUST!
This card was made with an image from A Stamp In The Hand. We colored on the rubber with Marvy markers, then stamped on white glossy paper. The image was colored a second time and stamped on Stampbord, then adhered over the top of the first image we stamped. Pretty....huh? Images always have a more vibrant color when stamped on glossy paper. And this one is vibrant and just gorgeous!
Thanks Jimmie....it was such a pleasure to have you with us. I really do miss seeing you! (She lives an hour and a half from here.) And be sure to keep me posted on your celebrity status as it continues to flourish!
