A HUGE thanks to my friend Tosh! First, she sent me this super gorgeous card! And secondly, she sent me the Excellent Blogger Award! How cool is that?
For the card, she used Penny Black's Windsome stamp. I know that she added some Stickles to the flowers, because they are so pretty and sparkly in real life!
The sentiment is from Gina K's Rectangle Greetings set, and was punched out with the Marvy Extra Jumbo scalloped rectangle punch.
I particularly love the colors she used on this card. Of course, the scallops and faux stitching are gorgeous!
Is this a great RAK, ir what? Thanks Tosh.....I LOVE this card!
According to rules of award, I'm supposed to name some others who deserve the Excellent Blogger Award. And I'm trying not to nominate someone who already has the award. So please check out these fabulous blogs! They are ALL excellent!

New Stamps...and a useful tip!
I haven't had any time for stamping the last couple of nights.
Last evening I was busy photographing and listing the new Stampendous stamps in the store. Tonight I received an order from Paper Inspirations , so those are now listed in the store as well.
Since I didn't get to stamp, I thought I would show you a little organization I worked on last weekend. I found the PDF file for the Ranger Ink labels on the Ranger Website. You can get it HERE . They also have the label files for their Adirondack, Archival and Nick Bantock inks, in case you need those.
I bought the required size Avery labels at Wal Mart. Mine are Avery 18167, and measure 1/2" x 1 3/4". After I printed the labels, I stamped with each color on the label and adhered them to the side of my Ranger ink pad. I think it's a great way to organize and actually see the color of the ink. And believe me...I need all the organizational help I can get! LOL!
I know this was short and sweet, but I want to pop in to the MFT Party at SCS. That reminds me....the new My Favorite Things stamps have been ordered are on the way...including the new Twisted Sentiments set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

See the Flowers Smiling
This is a fun card that I made Sunday afternoon. I love the concept, but somehow I think I missed the mark with the details. Oh well...I'm sure someone will be happy to receive it!
The main image is Penny Black's Wind Caressed . I stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen.
The dragonflies are Penny Black's Tiny Dragons . I colored on the rubber with my Tombows, then added a little Stickles Glitter Glue for sparkle.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Anytime Messages . I love that sentiment...and I really love that stamp set!
I added a little Raspberry Liquid Pearls to the stamen of each flower. TIP: In order to get just a very tiny dot, I put a drop of the Liquid Pearls on a piece of scratch paper, then picked up a very small amount with the end of a toothpick. There may be a better way...but that works for me!
The ribbon is from May Arts, and the designer paper is from Stampin Up's Berry Bliss collection.
I got an order from Stampendous last night....the new Changito collection, as well as a few others. You can find them in the store HERE . Just be sure to look toward the end for the new ones.
Thanks for stopping by...I will be back tomorrow.
Until then...

Find Joy Everywhere!
This card makes me smile. And I really don't know why. So I am definitely mailing this to someone. Who knows...maybe it will make them smile too!
I think I've been on a yellow and orange kick lately! I used to never use orange, and now it seems that it's been appearing on my cards a lot! Anyway, the flower stamp is Penny Black's A Touch . (I have no earthly idea why they named it that!) But I really like the stamp, and it's super easy to color.
I stamped on yellow cardstock using VersaMark Ink then embossed with detail white embossing powder.
I colored the flowers and leaf using my Tombow markers and a blender pen.
The sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear set called Anytime Messages . That set has soooooo many great sentiments in it. I can see that I will be using it a lot!
The designer paper is from Basic Grey, and the ribbon is May Arts.
Thanks for all your sweet comments on my new look! I think Sara is super talented, and I'm really happy with all she did for me.
I appreciate you stopping by tonight....more tomorrow.

Brand new look....and a winner!
Notice anything different here? I am sooooooo excited about my NEW look! And I owe it all to Sara Williams! I found her through Amy at Heartfelt Greetings . Thanks Amy! I contacted Sara immediately because I wanted a fresh new look on my blog, and a new banner at Stamper's Dream Store . She also created a logo for my fabulous Design Team. You will see it on their blogs soon.
Sara went to work immediately, asking me a lot of questions about design, color, elements, and many other things to be sure she designed something that would make me happy. Well...boy, did she!
I can't say enough sweet things about the her kindness, her patience, the entire experience, and her very reasonable prices! If you need some work, please be sure to contact her. Her new blog is Tweaks and Designs and you can find all the information there. I promise you, she is easy to work with, and a really nice lady, too! Thanks so much Sara....I LOVE my new look! You are truly the best!
So...do you wanna know who won the blog candy? The Random Picker thingy chose #106. The winner is Jennifer!

Both of these cards are fabulous! The color and distressing in the first and the colors, layout and choice of placement and stamps in the second are, again, FABULOUS!
I think your challenge to us is a very good idea and I will do just that and send out a few cards this week to unsuspecting souls.

They MADE me do it!
Honestly...they MADE me! It all started last night after my sweet and thoughtful post about the RAKS I received from Tosh and Cammie! Wasn't I nice about their fabulous cards? Huh? Wasn't I?
Shortly after posting I got an email from Tosh , and she was daring me to make a card using kraft cardstock, since I said I was afraid of it, and had never made one. I simply said, "No way....can't do it." Then, after a LOT of badgering, she started calling me a big chicken! Can you believe it?????
This morning I got an email from Cammie challenging me (really kind of daring me) to make a kraft card. I am convinced that there was some collusion there, don't ya think?
So...........since they dared me, and Tosh called me a chicken, I made a "Kraft Chicken" card. At least, this was the closest thing I had to a chicken! LOL!
The bird/chicken image is from Inkadinkado and is called Squawk . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.
The stamped image was colored using Tombow markers and a blender pen. I used my rectangle Nestabilities to frame the image.
The sentiment, also from Inkadinkado, is called Girl Time . I love that little stamp! I cut and embossed using my circle Nestabilities. To complete the card I added a little May Arts ribbon.
Now...the next time I'm going on and on about how sweet and wonderful those girls are, would someone PLEASE remind me of the kraft chicken? LOL!
Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to register for the Dreamy Treats! I will be announcing the winner tomorrow night.

I'm a lucky girl...
See what I got? I tell you, I have been grinning from ear to ear! It is such a rare occasion that I get handmade cards in the mail, and it totally makes me happy!
The first card is from my friend and Design Team member Tosh . I wish you could see this in real life. My photos never quite seem to capture the real beauty, because let's face it...I'm a crummy photographer!
The depth of color is absolutely exquisite. Tosh is famous for her talent for distressing, and I just happen to know first hand that she loves using the Ranger Distress inks. All the detail is simply magnificent. Did you know that she's the newest "Dirty Girl" on SCS?
The second card is from my dear friend (and DT member) Cammie . We haven't known each other very long, but somehow I feel as if I have known her forever. Don't you just love it when that happens?
I love the colors she used. I have probably never made a kraft colored card, because I'm afraid of it. Well, she certainly did it so beautifully here! The added touches of color in her flowers and the narrow black and white ribbon are the perfect compliments, don't you think?
I can assure you that these are two cards I will NEVER part with! They are very special to me, and in turn they made me "feel" special when I received them. Isn't it awesome that we have the power to make someone feel so special just by doing what we love?
So....let's do this. I encourage each of you to send at least one card this week to some unsuspecting soul. I can assure you it will make their day, just as these cards have made mine!
Don't forget to register for the Dreamy Treats! You can comment once on each post beginning with yesterday's. For those of you who check in regularly, that gives you additional opportunities to win.
Thanks for stopping by....more tomorrow.
