April Showers...

This is a card I started on a couple of nights ago, then got distracted with new stamp orders arriving. So I really forgot what my original concept was. Oh well, I just went with it! LOL!

That adorable little bear is Penny Black's Rainin' Daisies . Isn't that just the sweetest stamp?

I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored the image with Tombow markers and a Tombow blender pen.

The sentiment is also from Penny Black, and I thought it was perfect for the image. It's called Rain and Flowers . It was also stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with detail clear embossing powder.

The pink background is cardstock stamped with Scrolling Along . I used VersaMark ink for the watermark effect.

I found the Offray ribbon at Wal Mart. The prima flowers are there to cover a little accident. I was putting away my markers and the lid came off one of them. Of course, it landed right on top of my sentiment. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Don't you just hate it when that happens?

So...that's it for me tonight. I'm actually going to try to do a few things around the house and turn in a bit early. And that NEVER happens! Well, on second thought maybe I will just enjoy a little stamping instead! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I do so appreciate each and every one of you!

Stamper's Dream *Dream Team*!

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about Stamper's Dream's new *Dream Team*! If only I could afford to have about 40 of you, life would be so sweet. But the team members I have selected are

Carolyn aka Cammie

Laurie aka Lauraly

Kurtis aka Stampin' Kub

Tosh aka stamps4funinca

Please help me give them a warm and friendly welcome to Stamper's Dream! I couldn't be more excited about working with these fine designers! I just know you are going to love all their fabulous creations as much as I do!

I will have guest designers as well. Those will be selected from the applications I received, and will be announced after I've had an opportunity to contact them.

Now....is it time for me to relax a little? LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous Friday!

Yum!

What a night! The new Hero Arts stamps were on my doorstep when I got home from the office, so I just HAD to oooh and aahhhh over them. And I also got them listed in the store. You can find them HERE . Be sure to scroll to the end to see the new ones.

So....I didn't finish the card I was working on last night, and certainly didn't have any stamping time this evening. Just as I was about to totally freak out, I remembered that my good friend Debbie Gunion (who is also my stamp rep) sent me an adorable card a couple of days ago. Without Debbie I wouldn't have anything to show you tonight! Love ya Debbie! SmileyCentral.com

This stamp is from the NEW Hero Arts Clear Design Cupcakes stamp set. Is that not the most adorable set?

It was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then colored with Tombow markers. She used Stickles Glitter Glue on the swirls and the cherry.

The ribbon is from May Arts, and the cardstock is Bazzill.

So....do you want to know a really big secret??? If I told you would you promise not to tell anyone? Yeah...right! Like I'm gonna fall for that one! LOL! I will be announcing the names of the first EVAH Stamper's Dream "Dream Team" tomorrow night. Can you stand it? Don't you want to know who it is? Well, I'll tell you...tomorrow night.

I know...my bad!

Flowers in pink and black

I think that title sounds like the name of a Georgia O'Keefe painting! LOL!

I'm loving this flower image from the Gina K Designs stamp set called Simple Pleasures . Besides the main decorative images, this set has GREAT sentiments!

I stamped the flowers on white cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.
The flowers and leaves were colored with Tombow markers to match the background paper. The designer paper is from The Paper Studio. I found it at Hobby Lobby last weekend. I just LOVE pink and black.

The ribbon is from May Arts. Actually, it matches this paper perfectly, but for some reason doesn't look that way in these photos. What's up with that?

The sentiment is also in the Gina K Simple Pleasures stamp set.

I'm working on something new for tomorrow night. I really need to get it finished, because the new Hero Arts stamps are due to arrive tomorrow evening. And I can't WAIT to get my hands on those!

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow, and hope you are too!

Sending you sunshine

Yes, I am trying to send you some sunshine since it is more than 70 degrees here in Louisiana today! LOL!

Sorry to be a little late posting tonight, but I've been SUPER busy since I walked in the door from the office. New new Penny Black stamps arrived, so I've been hopping to get them listed in the store for you. You can find them HERE . You will need to look toward the end of the listings for the new ones.

This card is from another Gina K Designs stamp set. It's called Just Be Claws . You may remember a card or two I've made from this set already!

Nothing tricky about this card, really. The main image was stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored the stamped image using my Tombow markers and a blender pen.

The sentiment is from Wordsworth and is called You Are My Sunshine! . I love the size, as well as the font.

I think the rest is self explanatory. As always, please feel free to email me if I left out something important.

Well...one day down, and four more to go until the weekend! But, who's counting? LOL!

Thanks for stopping by. More tomorrow......

Think Happy Thoughts

Today's featured stamper on SCS is Nancy Riley aka Stampinat6213! Please check out her gallery . You can find the card I CASED HERE .

Since I had never made a criss cross card I decided this was the time because Nancy has a gorgeous one in her gallery.

There is a GREAT tutorial for making Criss Cross cards by Beate on the Splitcoast site. You can find it HERE .

All the stamps used are from Inkadinkado. The sentiment is Think Happy Thoughts . I really love that saying, as well as its size. And it was perfect here!

The flower is Inkadinkado's Crepe Paper Flower . I stamped it twice on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow markers. One is popped up on top of the other with Scotch Mounting Tape .

The circles were cut and embossed with my circle Nestabilities. The punch at the top is a SU! punch, and the designer paper is Paper Loft's confetti.

My friend Carol said there is a new episode of Desperate Housewives tonight, so I'm off to watch it. The last episiode before the reruns was a real cliffhanger! And what is Cashmere Mafia that's coming on after that? What happened to Brothers & Sisters????? Apparently, I'm totally out of the loop! LOL!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It's back to work tomorrow. Faint
