CHA Bound...and Dreamy Treats (Blog Candy)!

TGIF!!!! Not only is it Friday, but it's the day I leave for CHA in Los Angeles! And I couldn't be more excited. I will have two roommates in California... Amy Sheffer and my friend Kellie Fortin from JustRite Stampers. So that ALONE will be a hoot! We have plans to meet up with other designers that you all know and love, so I will be taking LOTS of pictures! I will try to blog from there, but I never know if that's possible with the crazy schedule we have. Keep checking back...I will do my best.

I REALLY meant to give away some dreamy treats at 300,000 hits, but somehow time got away from me and it didn't happen. So this is my "going to CHA" gift to thank you for your continued support and encouragement. I appreciate each and every one of you who take the time out of your day to come here, and those of you who shop at Stamper's Dream .

To be eligible to win this fabulous prize, all you have to do is list THREE things you want to see added to Stamper's Dream inventory from the CHA sneak peeks you've seen. I will be checking your answers every night and shopping all day...so I want good suggestions from you, okay?

I will use the random number thingy to select the winner and will announce that person the evening of Thursday, February 3. Please, only one comment per person on this post.

Thanks...and good luck!

Bright Heart

Happy Thursday, everyone! It's a nasty and rainy day here in the deep south, but I'm not letting it dampen my spirits. I'm leaving next week for CHA to buy LOTS of new products for the store, and I couldn't be more excited! Are any of you going to be there??? Be sure to drop me a note and let me know so I can look for you there!!!
The stamp I used for this card is the new Penny Black Bright Heart rubber stamp. I stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with my beloved Tombow Markers .

Just for fun, I added a touch of Stickles Glitter Glue to the I ♥ and flower. I used Lime Green, Christmas Red and Orange Peel. To give the wing a little dimension I put a white dot on each feather using my White Opaque Pen from Ranger.

The hearts were cut with My Favorite Things Hearts A Plenty Die-Namics . The red button is from Buttons Galore Big Red Buttons Grab Bag , and the twine is May Arts Pink Burlap String .

All designer paper is from the MME Alphabet Soup Girl paper kit. The cardstock is Frosted Pink and Intense Pink from the Pink Prismatics Trio .

Love Antennae!

While I was stamping this weekend I made this card using Penny Black's new Love Antennae rubber stamp. I think this "Mimi" series of stamps is really cute! Funny, but I just can't see a ladybug stamp without thinking of my sweet friend Charmaine ! :)

I stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. After coloring with Tombow Markers I cut out the image and layered it on a panel cut from a MFT Dainty Lace Doily Die-Namic .

All designer paper is from the Bo Bunny Crush paper pad. The red heart border is a Fiskars punch, and the red cardstock is Classic Red Prismatics .

Thanks for stopping by! I will be back with something new for you soon! Until then...

I hope you've all been enjoying the creations of the fabulously talented Dream Team . I tell ya...these ladies can ROCK some rubbah!
Today I used JustRite's Adorable Dragon cling mounted set. Isn't he just too fun? I decided to paper piece him instead of coloring, since it's so easy to do! The various colors you see on his body were actually colored after paper piecing using my beloved Tombow Markers .

All designer paper is from the Basic Grey Green at Heart paper pad. The hearts in the corners are stamps that are included in the set. The cardstock is Prism Papers Spring Willow Dark and Razzleberry Dark .

Please don't stop here! The best is yet to come from The Dream Team. Be sure to check out what they have created for you!

Welcome to Day 2 of JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream !
For my card today I used the super cute Ellie Time cling stamp set! Did you see all the adorable little things included in the set that she can hold in her hands. Or are they paws? Uhhh...feet? Whatever they are, I chose to have her hold that sweet little mouse with the heart.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .

Ellie's vest was paper pieced, and the heart was popped up with foam tape. I added some Mini Rhinestones to her toenails just for fun! The Raspberry Velvet Ric Rac is from May Arts.

For the inside I used JustRite's new Nested Frame Custom Dies with the sentiment included in the set.

With All My Heart

Hi everyone! I trust that you all had a Happy New Year, and are ready to get back to work tomorrow! Haha! I had a little time to stamp today, and it was a welcome break from all the holiday UN-preparations, like taking down the tree and UNdecorating the house!
The image I used for this card is the adorable MFT Love You With All My Heart Pure Innocence set. I stamped her on watercolor paper, then again on designer paper from the MME State of the Heart paper collection for her dress and the heart she is holding. The remainder was colored with Tombow Markers using a damp paint brush to blend.

This sweet sentiment on the inside is also included in the stamp set. All designer paper is from the MME State of the Heart paper collection. The red cardstock is Prismatics Blush Red Dark , and the ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back Tuesday with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Be sure to stop by, okay? Until then...
