Have A Boo-t-iful Halloween!

I thought this sentiment was just darling with the image! It's the Stampendous Bootiful Boots cling mount set. I am LOVING the fact that they are cling mount (reasonably priced)and that they have sets so you get the sentiment to go with the image!

The boots were stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, and colored with Tombow Markers .

I added black glitter to the boots using my Quickie Glue Pen for adhesive. I thought they needed a little sparkle!

The sentiment was cut and embossed using Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle. I hand-cut the orange layers around the main image AND the sentiment.

The designer paper is Basic Grey, and the cardstock is Intense Orange , Intense Kiwi and Majestic Purple Prismatics.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope your Friday is fantastic!

Let's Hang Out

Before I get to today's card, I wanted to mention that if you aren't on the Stamper's Dream newsletter list, you really should be! That's how you get coupon codes and other news. So if you're interested in signing up for the mailing list you can do that HERE . The discounts passed on through the newsletter is my way of rewarding my loyal customers, and showing that I appreciate your business. Because I truly do.

I just love Halloween images, and we received some great ones from Stampendous recently. This one is called Hang Out Spider . Both the sentiment AND the image come in this cling mount set. I like that!

I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink, on watercolor paper, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow Markers using a damp paint brush to blend. I stamped just the hat once again, cut it out and popped it up for a little dimension.

I added Mini Rhinestones for a little bling. The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Erie collection. The cardstock is Orange Prismatics and Majestic Purple . I used a Martha Stewart Bats punch, and the cobwebs border is also from Martha Stewart.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog today!

Friends

The main image on this card is the Mimi & Friend from Penny Black, and it's from their newest release!

I stamped the image on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush for blending.

I used circle Nestabilities to cut the main image and the blue circle layer behind it. The purple scalloped circle was cut and embossed using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Nestabilities.

The friends sentiment is from the JustRite Stampers Cherish The Memories Nested Centers set. I used a Mini Flower rhinestone to dot the "i", adhering it with my beloved Quickie Glue Pen . Honestly, I don't know how a person lives without at least one of those! :D

The cardstock used is Baby Blue and Majestic Purple Prismatics. The ribbon is May Arts Lavendar Satin Reversible , and the designer paper is from the Basic Grey Kioshi 6 x 6 paper pad.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope your day is a great one!

Masculine JustRite Sailboat

I know my last few posts have been JustRite images, but I just had to ink up this gorgeous sailboat from their By The Sea centers & borders set. It has been calling my name for a while now! :D
I stamped the image on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored the image using Tombow Markers and used a damp paint brush to blend. I added a little Antique Linen Distress Ink to the edges of the larger sentiment oval to give it an aged look.

The layer behind the main image is Crabapple Prismatics dark, embossed with a Tim Holtz Burlap Texture Fade folder. It was then cut with a Spellbinders Labels Eight nestability.

All the designer paper is from the Basic Grey Oliver 6 x 6 paper pad. LOVE that paper...it's great for masculine cards. The large eyelets are from my stash.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Was yours as short as mine???

Thanks for stopping by!

New Products at Stamper's Dream!

The new Sizzix 3-D Flower Bigz Die is finally here! I really haven't had a spare moment to play with mine yet, but you can bet it won't be long! For easy assembly instructions, Sizzix has provided This File which should be helpful.

A Bigz die cleanly cuts thick materials, including cardstock, chipboard, fabric, foam, magnet, leather, metallic foil, paper and sandpaper (in limited use). Its wider size offers you more design options.

I have also added several colors of Flower Soft to our inventory. I simply couldn't resist the Polar White Flower Soft for all the new Christmas images this year.

Of course, you can see all the new products in the New Arrivals section.

July Guest Designer!

With summer upon us, vacations, and lots going on for everyone, I decided we needed a little special treat in the design department! So I asked Christina Fischer to join us. To my delight, and without hesitation she said YES!

I have had Christina on my watch list in Google Reader for quite some time now. She is uber talented!!! And I know if you aren't familiar with her work, she will quickly become one of your favorites as well.

Please join me in giving a warm welcome to Christina. Then be sure to race on over to her blog at Flowers and Ink to see her debut for Stamper's Dream.
