Remember...

Is this card bright enough for you? Geez...what WAS I thinking? LOL!

The stamp I used is from the Hero Arts I Care Frames clear stamp set. There are four stamps in that set, all perfect for encouragement type cards.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow (water based) markers and a damp paint brush.

After cutting out the frame I mounted it to Frosted Kiwi Prismatics and then to a Classic Red Prismatics panel.

The yellow cardstock is Intense Yellow Prismatics (temporarily out of stock). I used my new EK Sucess punch for the scalloped scallops borders on each side of the center panel. The ribbon is May Arts red grosgrain and parrot green grosgrain 3/8" ribbon.

Gotta run. I'm off to make something for dinner and watch American Idol! It's getting good, isn't it?

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today. I hope you are all having a great week!

Let's Snuggle!

Today the Featured Stamper on SCS is Wattle . I had never been to her gallery before, and I so enjoyed looking at her gorgeous cards! So this card is for FS116 in her honor. The card I chose to case is HERE . I so loved her layout and beautiful design.

The stamp I chose to use is Penny Black's Snuggle . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow (water based) markers and blended with a damp paint brush.

I cut out the little mice and mounted them to a white circle embossed with my Flowers Impressabilities . The little hearts are punches. I layered some of them, then added a bit of Frosted Lace Stickles to the smaller ones.

The circles were then mounted to two panels cut out with my new Labels Three Nestabilities .

The designer paper is from the Penny Lane Tiny Dancer paper kit by My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is all from the Pink Prismatics paper pack. The large rhinestones in the center are Soft Pink rhinestones by Kaiser Craft. The tiny ones on each corner are Mini Rhinestones by Zva Creations.

The sentiment on the inside is a NEW RELEASE stamp from JustRite Stampers . It's from the Tiny Words & Centers stamp set.

After stamping I cut the sentiment with a circle nestability, then cut a dark pink layer using my new Inverted Circles Nestabilities . The lighter pink circle is cut with a scalloped circle Nestability. I just love the effect when combining those two shapes! The two large panels were cut with my Labels Three Nestabilities .

Gosh, this sure turned out to be a long post. I guess I had a lot to say! LOL!

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Long Stem Cuties!

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Penny Black stamps??? Are you tired of hearing it? LOL!

When I started this card I intended to make a Mother's Day card. But since my mother has been gone for some time now, I wouldn't have anyone to send it to. So I decided to make it a card for the grands. They simply love getting mail, especially when it's a cute card! Well actually, I do too! :-)

The stamp I used is Penny Black's Long Stem Cuties . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow (water based) markers and a damp paint brush.

I stamped the image once again and cut out the little mice so I could pop them up with foam tape. I love the added dimension. Someone asked a while back how I cut out my images. I just use good scissors like these . I rarely ever use a craft knife for that purpose.

For the sentiment I used my JustRite Times Roman Upper Case and Times Roman Lowercase fonts. I cut out the sentiment with my Labels One Nestabilities . To embellish, I punched out two hearts then added Ultrafine Transparent Glitter using my Quickie Glue Pen for adhesive.

The designer paper is Urban Prairie by Basic Grey. The cardstock is Prismatics Island Mist Light and Intense Pink . The ribbon is Rose 5/8" Sheer by May Arts.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog today. I hope you all had a great start to your week!

Hello Friend! - FS115

It's been a while since I've had time to play in the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge. But this morning I decided I wanted to take the time to participate...and oh, I'm SO glad I did! The featured stamper this week is Jaymerz, and you can find her gallery HERE . She has some beautiful creations that I know you will enjoy!

The card I chose to CASE can be seen HERE . According to the rules you have to change at least two things, so I changed the paper, the image, and left off one of the patterned layers.

The image I used is one of my favorites, Sarah Kay's Spring Blossoms . Oh, who am I kidding? I love ALL the Sarah Kay stamps! LOL!

I added pink Mini Rhinestones to the centers of the flowers for a little bling. The sentiment is from the General Sayings unmounted set by Whiff of Joy. You have seen me use this designer paper a lot, and will see again later this week. It's from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie paper pad. That color palette really appeals to me!

The cardstock is Prism Papers Frosted Teal , and Frosted Pink . The ribbon is 3/8" pink satin by May Arts.

By the way...I need to let you all know that I have to go out of town this week for a few days. Wah! Unfortunately, it's not a fun trip! I am going to school for 3 days in Lafayette, Louisiana for educational requirements to keep my professional license current for my REAL job. I will leave early Wednesday morning (April 22) and return Friday evening (April 24). All purchases during that time will be shipped on Saturday, April 25. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's totally unavoidable.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back soon with something new!

Just an update on a few new things we have in stock at Stamper's Dream .

Look at these adorable mini rhinestones ! You get this round container of approximately 400 of them for only $2.49. They are not self adhesive, but all you have to do is add a touch of liquid glue (I use Mono Multi Liquid Glue ) or Diamond Glaze to adhere them.

These are the little rhinestone flowers, and they can be found HERE .

We now have the Scalloped Inverted Circles Nestabilities both in the large and small sizes.

These Flourish Accent Shapeabilities from Spellbinders look really fun for adding flourishes to your cards and projects!

We have Sparkly Fluff by Our Craft Lounge in 8 gorgeous colors!

The new Grungepaper by Tim Holtz is now in stock. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but this is what they say about it:

Adrift!

No, I don't have an Easter Card for you today. It's rainy and dreary here, so I made something bright and fun! And of course, I always seem to turn to my Penny Black stamps for that!

This stamp is called Adrift! . I stamped it twice on watercolor paper, and cut the second one out and popped it up with foam tape.

The panel was cut out with my new Larged Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities. I LOVE them, and can see that I will be using them a lot!

The designer paper is from my new Snorkel paper kit by Cosmo Cricket. Don't you just love those fun colors? The Snorkel Ribbon matches it perfectly!!! The sun is on one of the elements cards included in the Snorkel Papercrafting Kit. I cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. I added red rhinestones to the eyes just for fun!

The cardstock is Intense Yellow Prismatics and Classic Red Prismatics .

I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter with your families. Thanks so much for stopping by!

You Bless Me

I had a little time to play, and I couldn't wait to use this new angel image from Whiff of Joy . The stamp is called Confirmation Melinda . Isn't she pretty? Now I don't send many cards for confirmation, but I can think of many other appropriate uses for this stamp!

I stamped on watercolor paper, colored with Tombow (water based) markers and cut out the image. All designer paper is from the Chatterbox artsy.licious fine paper collection . The background panel is flocked, and the oval and sentiment panels are glittered. This is some gorgeous paper!!!

I used my new Labels Four Nestabilities to cut the panel for the sentiment both on the outside and the inside of the card.

The You Bless Me sentiment is by Wordsworth. The ribbon behind the sentiment is rose sheer from May Arts. I tied two knots in the ribbon before adhering it to the card layer to bunch it up.

The sentiment on the inside is You're an Angel by Stampendous. It was stamped on Frosted Pink Prismatics cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder.

The brighter pink cardstock is Intense Pink Prismatics . I added two small adhesive pearls to each end of the sentiment. After looking at the photo, I think I may take those off. I might like it better without them.

The last step in completing the card was to add Frosted Lace Stickles to the angel wings.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by. I will be back soon. Until then...

Thanks A Bunch

I received a new shipment of stamps from Whiff of Joy last week. I'm dying to ink some of them up!!! But since I had already started this card, the new ones will have to wait their turn.

This stamp is called Willow with Sun Hat . She's such a cute little country girl! I stamped with Onyx Black Versafine ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow (water based) markers. The edges were distressed with a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser , then with Distress Ink .

The sentiment is from the Whiff of Joy General Sayings set. I stamped it on Spring Willow Light Prismatics then cut it out with my NEW Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities die.

The designer paper is from the K & Company Madeline Paper Pad . The cardstock is Spring Willow Prismatics and Razzleberry Prismatics .

The border punch is by Martha Stewart. The flower punches I used are from Martha Stewart and The Punch Bunch. The adhesive pearls for the flower centers are by Kaiser Craft.

Thanks for stopping by today!

The main panel was cut out using my Spellbinders Labels One dies. Just for fun, I popped up his little feet and the bird with foam tape for dimension.

They are all cute. But my favorite would be the teacher treats. I'm always looking for something to use for teacher gifts. I would probably first use it to make a bag filled with some homemade cookies. My second favorite is the Secret Family Recipe. I think it would be cute to make an album for my family and use this. Oh, I love all of them. I love the Chocolate delights to put on a bag with a chocolate gift.

Congratulations Judi! You have until Thursay at 8 am to contact me to claim your prize.

And thanks once more to ALL OF YOU! I so enjoyed reading all your comments.

I will be back soon with something new. Until then...
